bull shit. Hefe didn't jack shit. And it isn't like salt is the only one allowed to do those types of sculptural pieces. If that's the way it works, no one would be allowed to do reversals and there wouldn't be half the amazing techs out there today.
The glass pipe scene is all a big loop of inspiration and saying shit like that is lame. :2cents:

with that being said, i'm not feelin the hefe pieces but i think he will step it up a few notches down the road. I love hefe's work and know he will take that style a long way.

I'm not usually one to accuse people of 'biting' or jacking people styles for the exact reasons you mentioned. BUT those slides look pretty fuckin identical to salt slides that have been selling like hotcakes (for some reason) in the last year or so. It's pretty damn obvious he had salt in mind when he made those slides, and he made them because he knew his name + everyone drooling over that style = good sales. those slides weren't some burst of inspiration that hit hefe, they were produced purely with sales in mind. Not saying it's a bad thing, calling it for what it is.

just to add, personally, I think salt slides come off as uninspired as well and are produced with sales in mind. Ghost (and few others) does fairly similar work, but if you have the chance to check out one of his slides or smaller pieces (I have a chillum) in person,, the detail and care put into them blows Salt outta the water. my :2cents:

besides those new hefe are lame compared to what he just put a week or two ago... they had some on bfg... i think tho he sayed he was just playing/trying out the steez.

I like his line work way more than the carving. his push's are so dope.

An Alex K mini hammer, ice pinch chillum, and 2 double layer pushes... an Andy D spinal slide, and it just wouldn't be a MLC post without some D-Wreck...hehe...

On 29 March 29 I placed an order for about $250 worth of bits and pieces. On the 30th the WeedCity site showed that my order had been sent to the store owner, that an invoice had been issued, and that payment had been received.

It's now April 4th and I keep hoping that soon it will show that the order has been shipped.

Wow pack a bowl i thought that was like 500 bucks at most but i thought their were a few different lables not just a tc label i would never buy that bullshit ugly as fuck! and would never put tokecity on any bong i own neve never never! do people actually buy that. and i bet your right tony that doesnt look german not as clean as a de or thats what i see.

show me glass is that u that sold me the j lee slide if so i love it man more then anything in my collection!

and thanks sham for your nice comment on my lee slide couldnt tell u how happy iam that the fact i own it just changed my whole out look on who the best blower is and for a while i woudl only use de roor glass on my shit like my ziggy slide or my other de slide i got in the roor shop in adam. ever since i used a ak slide on a de i had to get a headie slide. tony actually was the one who pointed me towards it.

Tony my good friend ordered his first german roor from their ever it actually was the frist de i ever used and love it a 7mm ice master old school thing was a fucking baseball bat u could kill someone with that if u hit them over the head with it. what did u order? tony pmd me one of his new slides it was real nice.

chi i was thinkin the same thing when i saw the set of slides. u said it well but properly with out sayin things the wrong way which was real cool of you.

and thanks for you comment midlife! i love it myself. i like your pic of that glass u own all of that and if so nice collection what kind of bong u use those slides on man.

Hey guys i love this galaxy on my bub and it has a opal rock in it as u can see i was wondering if any of u can give me some information on what opal rock is and why is it used so much in the glass seen with marbles and such.

And hears a ziggy slide for u ziggy lovers im proud to say i own 1 of the 66 made i almost got the che im so happy the glass ware worker for edit changed my mind and told me to get the ziggy slide. i use it for a special ocassions only cause im not a big fan of the roor nails but its so sexy in person. thank god for roor that they got into headie work im gonna get my own custom one day for sure! once a headshop in buffalo starts ordering des form the site. it sucks that roor.de doesnt even ship to the usa! bullshit.
