Post your favorite timepiece

I love all things in regards to time keeping, if you have a nice or not clock (grandfather, coo coo or cat) or wristwatch take a picture and post it.

I'll start with a solar powered casio Gshock that features multiband 6 or atomic clock calibration. Every night it collects a signal and recalibrates, it's never wrong! And I never have to fiddle with it.

Didn't understand it but I'll delete it.

Nice watch, looks familiar!

I'm not sure what to make of the rest of your post though. Hallucinogens maybe?

Nothing special, but I've been wearing it for over a decade, so its now a part of me. I like the simplicity of it.

I got a Swiss army too.just had the battery replaced not the original band.now it really looks like an old army watch.good qauility band.cant remember who makes them

I had either a Victorinox (sp) or swiss army similar to those for several years. It was bought with Marlboro miles, whoever made those.

And yes simple, effective and reliable. The only reason I gave up on it was that the leather band started getting stinky.

The band mine came with was garbage. It fell apart within a year. I've settled on this one which is affordable, well made and holds up in the ocean. My current one is a few years old and still going strong.

Wow! Time! Our Master and our Rock!

Not dying, dead, deceased. But passing, passed, passed. Just like Time. It passes too ...

Now that's Ironic!

An old but fully restored 18k audemars piquet from Switzerland. It's really thin with an alligator band. Way back when I opened a pretty large jewelry/coin store, several thousand sq ft plus offices in the back in bricktown nj ( route 88 at the laurelton circle a VERY highly traveled road. My neighbor was a tattoo shop and I was dumb to put up a sign "tops numismatics" which was for Tom and Pop, my Dad and I had people coming in asking if I could help them quit smoking, the dumb dodo's though hypnosis had something to do with numismatics and maybe in retrospect it did lol ) there was an older Russian fellow, Max Lipshitz who used to own the howel water company when it was still legal apparently for individuals to own utilities companies who walked into my shop with his black cashmere overcoat on and his expensive hat saying " I vant a piece of ze action" even inviting me to his home where there were covers on all the furniture but also in a cabinet he told me he brought out for my viewing was more than 1 faberge' egg which I was totally clueless about which ignorance actually benefited me in negotiations as it made me a tougher negotiator since I didn't realize how I coulc be blowing the deal of my young life at the time, and it worked with him finally relenting some months later and gave me this beautiful 18k watch as a token of friendship.

It was a fun time for awhile. My daughter was just a little toddler ( she is now a big shot interior designer in lala land and in paris ) and standing next to me at the counter where I was buying some gold. I had the gold test kits in the interior shelf of this particular showcase and while I was speaking with the customer, an almost surreal experience I looked down and saw my 2 year old just put the glass piece that sits in the acid in her mouth. Woo Hoo I went into action grabbing her in such a fashion that Calvin Johnson would have been proud of me running her to the back of the shop, under mar arm like a football where into the bathroom I proceeded to splash the equivalent of Barnegat bay across her face, she's now screaming although we didn't know if it was from madman daddy splashing all this water or if the acid was eating thru her face, my business partner whose family owned the local ambulance company had the rig fired up and ready to go but when I stopped splashing there was obviously NO MARK WHATSOEVER and now the child is giggling and so whew, a catastrophe averted. Oh, back to the watches et'al

Have the show off stuff but this is the one that has the most meaning to me and is probably the least expensive :)
