Post office theives

Well I got a small envelope type package today from the Netherlands and someone figured out it must have had some goodies in it. I cant really see where they opened it but there was some packing tape on it across the folded flap so it may have been gently opened and re-taped.

There was no letter from the post office about something being seized like I have heard of before. Just a couple pieces of paper and a sticker for the beans that were supposed to be in it. They were freebies so I didnt lose anything but the cost to the sender was wasted.

The times customs has got my seeds, the mailing envelope was opened, seeds missing, a bad boy letter inside, and sealed again with that light green tape that says Customs.

There is starting to be a lot of good U.S. based seed banks around so I have been using them so I don't get all the drama of Customs getting the seeds. I wonder if Customs throw away the seeds, or take them home to grow?

I’m sure who ever it was kept them since there was no official notice included. These were some high in demand seeds.

That sucks I've been lucky over the years,especially when the bay was rocking,one year alone I spent 5k+ with gypsy
On beans.I had packs coming every couple of weeks,and never lost one.Atleast they were free,could be out a G plus pissed off.Mailmen catch on after awhile I guess

green customs tape was on the last one i had nabbed....DJXX

I've never lost seeds but just received an official customs notice that the brass knuckles they seized at xmas were not going to be released to me. I'd forgot about that wish order.

my mom passed away in May of '09, I was flying home in a hurry and there was no way that I was risking getting caught. A friend Russ from a compassion site I frequented offered to send me an ounce to her house via usps...

so I'm @ her home & I knew she got her mail 3-3:30, and there abouts I hear the mail slot open & close... no package. The postman is a biker friend of mine Paul and I see the correct manilla bubbler mailer Russ said it would be, but Paul is bringing it back to the truck. I pop out the door just as soon as he gets into his Jeep & I ask him if the mail in hand was for me???

I've got no doubt that he was gonna filch my weed, nobody knew that mom had passed either so he wouldn't understand the importance of it to me.

sorry to hear about your mom.

I have to say i think usps fucking kicks ass. They are honestly head and shoulders above postal systems in other countries i have experienced. Its those fucking thieving pieces of garbage that suck. Shitheads in every industry.

After thinking on it I have no way of knowing if was done at the Chicago hub, NY or still in EU. I looked closer at package today and can see where the flap was ripped from the inside. It was one of those that when you get it has the tear strip at top to open so I didnt rip open the flap. Shit happens. There are two things in this life I hate. A liar and a thief. Usually one and the same. I will live to grow another day.
