Possible Sighting In Non Med State.

I came home today to a neighbor saying she saw a helicopter spiraling over my yard. There's past issues between us and I'm unsure what to believe. Facts, as I know them are; apparently a helicopter circled over my yard. Who knows why that is...

I welcome any and all advice, from those who have been flown over and what time frame they used to knock on doors. This could all be a sham but I'm looking for advice, in regard to anyone that's experienced this sort of thing.

Did you get an idea what the chopper looked like? Marked medical, LEO, military...? I have life flight and military fly over all the time, but never low enough to give it any thought. Is there anything outside your worried about?

Im guessing you have plants in the back yard? If so I would get any and all "processed weight" out of the house. Move that to another location. Bongs, scales, bags, etc...Leave your plants in the ground though.

If you don't have anything in the back yard I wouldn't worry to much. They aint gonna waste chopper time in the middle of the day on just scoping your pad. Unless you got big deals going on there. And if you do, you should move it out the house for a while.

As for the neighbor. Keep your friends close, your enemies closer. Mend things if you can. Ask other neighbors who are cool if they saw anything. No more friends or parties for a while. Lay low. Put out a trail cam if possible to see if anyone is snooping.

I had a fly over yesterday while I was out watering. But I'm in CA and could give a fuck. Im following regs put out in my county. Knock on the door is pretty much always early in the AM.

I grew in the Dirty South for years. But only indoor, so I could maintain a "normal" appearance. Neighbors never knew shit.

theres acouple details left out, 1. does the nieghbor know of the plants already? and or he know you smoke weed in general? could be a scare tactic to get you to cut early if he doesnt like them...

2. did anyone corroborate the helicopter in your backyard?

either way know the laws in your state and dont do the numbers if you cant do the time, unfortunately...

Hide anything you're not going to get rid of up high. Further away from a search dogs nose the better.. I've heard of them missing a ceiling stash a few times.

I live like a recluse and don't talk about anything going on in the yard. More than anything, I'm wondering if they spot something and come the next day or wait until closer to finish to get more weight. The neighbor wanted to date a couple years ago and I didn't. She kind of had an attitude about all that so I don't know if she's messing with me or if it actually happened. I was home most of the day and like to think I'd hear a helicopter circling the rooftops.

I'm leaving everything as is and hoping for the best.

It may be her way to stay cool with you? Do u live in a built up area many crims running around? Is what you have growing anything that could land u in big trouble?

Maybe stay inside from now on.. The plants not you! Lol I have a lovely yard to grow in but have neighbours close enough to smell it when in late flower.. even tho I have a happy hippy type next door if it has a chance to put my indoor on top I just won't risk it. Even tho growing even one decent plant in my own yard is the one thing I'd REALLY want to do!

Especially in a non legal state I would say its time to move. Sure it's expensive and a hassle but it is a minor inconvience compared to the major inconvience of being caught. You mentioned the neighbor wanted to date a couple of years ago. This means you have been at this spot for several years. You should be moving at least every two years if renting. If you own it maybe a little longer but I wouldn't get too comfy.

spoken like a true recluse grower in smeagle mode, well done sir, reminds me of times growing in cali when it was illegal still, only did indoors w/ carbon filter... thats how you keep growing your whole life without getting caught... major props lol

just make sure when you harvest it, hang dry in a carbon filter'd room to kill most of the smell!

I'm form a small community in northern California. Almost once a week I have a helicopter flying low within 300-400 yards of the ground. This is in a place where outdoor bans have been held up for 2 years.

I've personally seen a helicopter with a gyroscopic stabilized camera on its landing gear take pictures of my plot, twice now.

But my 12 plants never get touched.

For contrast though, in the last 2 years there has been 3 busts within 3 miles of my plot.
All where in the local paper and where:
500 plants with 1000lbs of bud
1000 plants
750 plants

So for my county it would seem that they only go after people who are growing large amounts.

Also on one of those busts the guy told me that they confiscated all his plants and bud for no jail time. They got one of his cars in the bust too though.

So for my county, i think their budget is only available if they can profit from the bust.
