Possible deficiency or underwatering issue with tallest girls

I'm amazed at my first grow, I planted 6 (bag)seeds and got 6 girls (no herm signs yet!). Two of the six (the two tallest of the six, about 6 inches taller then the rest and probably close to about 5') are having a little issue with the top fan leaves, and smaller leaves near the bottom and close to the main stalk. They appear droopy and also maybe a litttle curled inwards. Is this possibly a lack of nutrients or underwatering? Here are the details:

a. Pot size is 3 gallons. Soil is mixed Scott's/MG and on the top inch is a compost. These are in day 20 of flower, and have been veg'ed for 60 days.
b. Plants are watered 1 gallon every 5 days, and nutrients are 1 tablespoon (15ML) of Pure Blend Pro Bloom Soil and 1 teaspoon (5ml) of Cal-mag. PH is adjusted to around 6.8. I use a Hanna 98129. The runoff is a little low, due to the crappy MG soil (big mistake but this is my first grow). It varies from around 5.5-5.8. The two tallest with the issues are close to the latter rating. I have added 2 tablespoons of fine dolomite lime to the topsoil.
c. Temps are around 75-80 during the day and around 65 at night. I have no outtake for ventilation, but a fan is blowing fresh air in the room and on the girls constantly.

Thanks folks!

I added the Dolomite Lime around 2 weeks ago.

Is it fine to transplant almost 3 weeks into flower?

I have 4 girls in 2 gal pots and use a gal of water every 2 days.

About 2 weeks into flower is when I transplant to the 5 gal. pots, and we run late a lot, so I would think its OK.

Can anyone recommend a good method for transplanting in large containers... noone knows about my garden so it's just myself, I'm not very strong and doing it alone seems difficult. The plants are so tall (5') I could not turn the pot over like I did with a smaller plant/pot.

Fortunately, I usually have help. But, what I do, is lay the plant on it's side sort of in the tub along the edge, took care of the new home at the bottom. My tub edge kinda lines up with the toilet which provides additional support for plant.

Much easier to do with a buddy.

If I am unable to get these two in new pots and they are root bound, what can I expect?

Will the plant eventually die, or can I just expect a smaller yield?

That was probably a good idea since runoff ph was getting so low. Slowly, ph will begin to rise. You might chose a lower ph for your fert water. Monitor runoff ph.

I might discontinue using the cal mag plus for a while. There is some cal mag in the pbp bloom although not a whole lot. This along with the fresh dolomite should be plenty of cal mag.

I think your biggest problem is not using a large enough volume of water. If you got 6 plants in 3 gallon pots and are giving them 1 gallon of water, that would only be about a pint per pot. Pots that size I might use up to 1/2 gallon apiece so that a bunch of runoff occurs. This prevents problems with excess salt buildup and you know that there is no dry spots occurring from underwatering.

A 5 gallon bucket with lid is perfect for mixing your ferts in. Retail price $5 at walmart new. Whatever is left over from your watering can be saved. Put the lid on to prevent evaporation. Stir well before each use.

You sound like a pretty good grower!

Thanks for all the advice !

Actually I have been watering them with 1 gallon for each pot :). I get a small amount of runoff, but they suck it up real fast which is why I thought it might be underwatering. I think I am going to water the taller plants on a 3 or 4 day cycle. I don't use a reservoir and it's a cumbersome process because my closet is so small, so I have to move the plants to get to all of them.

Even if I were able to transplant to 5 gallon pots, I'm not sure if the size of my room could sustain the growth increase, it's a crowded house :)
