Portable Dual Hose that Doesn't leak CO2?

In the hopefully not-so-distant future I want to run CO2 and will need an A/C. I cannot run either a mini split or a window unit due to my housing situation. So a dual-hose I think is the only option.

The downside is I hear they leak a bit in that the exhaust often contains air from the grow room. The smell I can manage by simply putting in an inline Phresh filter (yes, they make these) on the exhaust. The CO2 leakage, however, sucks ass.

So does anyone know of a dual-hose A/C that will not leak CO2 or at the very least keep such leakage to a minimum?

What keeps you from using a mini split or window unit? I'm using a thru the wall unit that is almost entirely inside my room. Only the back 2" of the unit sticks out past the wall of the building. I've read about all kinds of problems with the kind of AC units you're talking about. Good luck. -granger

Hey Granger2 thanks for chiming in. I live in an appt/condo where I cannot put anything like that on a balcony, nor am I allowed to make any major changes like drilling through a wall, etc. The windows are horizontally-sliding, so a window unit won't fit. Portable seems to be the only option as of now...

Actually they make window units for horizontally sliding windows. They are narrow and tall. You'll need to be able to put a nicely painted [matching] piece of plywood to fill the open window space above the unit. Pricy, but cheaper to operate, no or very little smell/CO2 leakage, no floor space. Just an idea. -granger
