Rood Spook

Napoleon, the three legged dog thats been a fixture on my front porch for 14 yrs has passed on.Words cant describe my loss and I dont think the tears will ever stop, its an awfull thing when your best friend dies.
As a yearling he thought he could take on a cow and got his front leg torn clean off in one kick from a heifer,he followed me around the fields hoppin along with his silly tongue hangin out for all these yrs.I always saved the best scraps for him.He was my boy :rasta:
He leaves behind his brother Ceaser,Me and a 13 yr old girl who misses him just as much as me.
At the family pet cemetary today thinkin of old pets, love them while ya can,ya miss em when they go :badday:

So sorry for your loss Rood :( ...it hurts alot to lose a friend like that, they love you unconditionely. Our best friend left us a cpl of months ago and I still look for him and still hear him sometimes, but we have all the great memories to remind us of their place in our heart!

A lot of people have lost dogs, including myself, and it seems to always feel like a family member has passed... Dogs are loyal and loving animals, and I'm sure you showed yours the best life any dog could ever dream of...
Try to focus on the good times, remembering those many years and emanating the happiness you both felt with each other...
Let the dog live on through memories....
My friend wrote a song about his passed canine...
We still sing it when we go camping and stuff to celebrate the dogs life....
Hope you find another dog some day that can be half as good as you made your first one sound to be...
My best wishes sent to you and yours...

May he find his heaven where he will be young again and has everything that a good dog deserves.I had to put down a stray I took in last year ..she was about 8 yrs old and was the best dog I ever owned. That was about two months ago and I still shed tears everytime I think of her.
There,s nothing any nicer then the love between a dog and it,s owner.....
good bless, and keep room in your heart for your friend.....

Ahhhhh man I'm sorry to hear that buddy.... I love dogs so much and know the feeling of when you lose one. I gotta say tho when I scrolled down and saw the pic of your buddy I got nightmare flashbacks of 5th grade when a Chow bit a whole the size of a 50c coin in my arm! :yoinks: and all I did was try to play fetch with the dude. Well either way your boy was good looking and hope you take it easy I just lost my best friend of 13yrs, buddy's since 5th grade and last time I saw him I was talking shit about his new girl I didn't like.... You never know just how much you miss somebody till you can't call them up or in your case go to the porch... Best wishes to your family sounds like it's going to hard on you guys. :fsu:
