id go easy on the neuts n c if they catch on, looks like they are hungry, if not chalk it up to seedlings just not making it, and move on. :(

From what I understand the plus version of this soil comes bare of nutrients. I like to use something similar myself but you have to be hitting them with like 300ppm of veg nutes every other watering starting about 1 week after germination.

If it's really "just a splash", you may need to water them more. Is the soil moist? Or pretty dry? They could probably use "a splash" of ferts too...

I think it's a watering issue, not nutrients. What ever species of plant you're growing, indoors or out, the watering mantra is; water as thoroughly as possible, as infrequently as possible. Thorough means wetting the entire rootball without washing extra nutrients out. Infrequent means giving the roots time to grow down in search of water and nutrients before watering again. 'Just a splash' won't work. All this talk about nutrients is fine, but without good watering those points are moot.

The reason people are so scared of overwatering seedlings is because they follow other cannabis growers instead of looking at standard horticultural methods. The standard method in the cannabis community is to put a small seedling into a large pot, which makes overwatering not only likely, but almost impossible to avoid. I start my seedlings in those 'pony packs' that 6 tomatos or whatever come in. Pony packs are very small and impossible to overwater. Also, there's no way your plants are transpiring all the water in those (big) pots in two days. Most of your water is evaporating directly out of the pot. Of course, that's assuming you're watering thoroughly. I did mention that?

my seedlings are in 10cm square pots and since you said about watering earlyer it made sence and have been doing it that way thanks for info and help.

i can now see some roots in drian holes so will be putting them into 3 liter pots b4 going to the 2.9 gallon pots. the seedlings that looked poorly, weather it was the way i was watering, or a humidity problum or whatever, have been removed and ive kept the strongest looking, as ive desided to germinate some cheese x ssh beans to flower with what i have veggin now :canabis:
