Poly Vs Mylar

So here it goes the age old question Poly Vs Mylar. Which material do all you green thumbs feel works better? and what are some of the pro's and con's to each medium. As for my self i have used mylar in the past and as of just recently i was handed down a good 3' to 4' of poly to play with. Have not had a chance to utilize this quite yet but i am in the process of planning/building my grow op so some input would definitely be appreciated.. Underjoyed

I've always used 2mm mylar because its the most reflective and because 1mm is some flimsy garbage. polyfilm is good for other applications, but for pure reflection mylar reigns king.

sorry - I had to.

Poly is easy, convenient, and for the most part durable.

BUT, if you wanna go clean and super sexy I'd say nicely painted room flat white and 2mil mylar around the walls canopy height.
