Pollination Timing

Do the seeds that were pollinated early in flowering differ from those pollinated late in flowering in any significant way as long as both have time to mature (or is the in the time staying in the calyx a benefit or negative?)

For sure, I always allow my pollinated seeds to stay in their bracts? or attached for as long as possible, nothing worse than sorting those seeds out later and seeing green..pale immature seeds, are by far the most you have and a tiny 10% are the viable ones, for all the effort you have put in ...?
pollinate and allow to sit, for months if necessary !
