I've read the Pollen Sticky but I have a few questions so I'm turning to you guys for some input. I DID NOT read that sticky until after I had already done what I am telling you. I am a first time grower and just trying to get as much experience as I can. I don't know much and I don't pretend to so I ask questions.
The story goes like this, I had a LowRyder plant that turned out to be a male, since it is my first time growing, I saw this as an opportunity to learn something from what I would just be tossing out anyway.
I had to get it out of the grow room quick, so I only had "what I thought" was the the way to do anthing with it. I cut it up, and put the pollen sacks into the bags you see.
To get it to dry out, I put them on top of my computer monitor and left the bags open for 2 days. After the first day, there was a good bit of moisture in the bags, by day 2 it was gone.
I still have the pollen sacks in the bags and I have some of the dust in the bottom of the bag. I'm guessing, I need to get the sacks out of there but, I would like to maximize the pollen I get from them. Any input would be appraicated.
The questions bouncing around in my head are:
How do I make sure I get the most out of what I have
Can I cut the pollen sacks with an exacto knife or something to open them up
Or just beat them up a little with the bag close to get some more out of them
Remember, I'm a newbie, just trying to learn something. I'm sure what I am doing is something most of you guys have done a bunch of times and maybe there are things I am missing or don't know to ask. Any help would be appraicated, I just want to learn.
Thanks!
