Pollen Question

If you grew a shitload of males outside.....and took the pollen from them and made like a 5 gram vial of straight pollen...would this pollen still be viable for a year or 2 to sprinkle on my plant to make some crosses?

Yes sir it will, and even longer (as in decades, perhaps longer) if you keep it in the freezer

it should stay good as long as its in the freezer but u have to seal it real good or it will loose most of its potancy if it draws moisture/frost to the inside

I was going to seal it in a mason jar... pretty much cut like the top of the plant...sterilize the jar and drop the dried top of the male in there.....does it have to be kept frozen or it will not be viable...i am still somewhat stumped on it.

you gotta put some kitty litter in there or another desiccant to absorb any moisture since moisture will ruin the pollen but yea properly preserved it can still be good for a long time in the freezer

I wouldnt waste time crossing with males...

i think you would be better off making all female seeds...

do a search on the Silver Colloidal methods...
