I love JLP's SOUR Bubble pic and I call that pic "Knee Deep in Resins". I named it that the first time I saw it. That pic of mine wasn't one I would have chosen but thanks anyways...funny at least. BOG

Good Lord, you people make it very tough to make a choice.
It came down to JLP, Southernsmoker and Growerinshorts. All of those entered are superior growers and should be very proud of their work. I went with Growerinshorts this month with Southernsmoker coming in second and JLP pulling third. I'm curious as to what white strain(if indeed it is a white strain) is in Growerinshorts photo. Anybody?

Yes indeed, this month was a most difficult month to vote....so many good choices and can only choose just one. Congrats to Abby on winning the POTM....please PM your shipping info to me Abby and I'll get your winnings off to you GL will upload your pic onto the front page when it's time to do so because we're not running exactly on the 1st of each month for the homepage feature.

Now....a little hype about something VERY WORTHY !!!! Taking photos of our favorite plant isn't easy....lighting and focus problems often plague most amateur photographers, however, with some of the winners we've had since the contest started here...well, you'd never think they had an difficulty.

We have TALENT here and we're going to recognize those members who have an eye for that exceptional shot....soooooo, sometime during the first week of January 2005 I'll open a POLL thread which will contain each month's POTM winner for 2004.

Members may then cast one vote for POTY (Photo of the Year). Beginning with the POTM winner for January 2005, a thread will be created for 2005 POTY....each month the winner of the prev months POTM will be placed into the thread, until we reach the same time next year and we select POTY 2005, and so forth for each year thereafter.

There are going to be some VERY COOL prizes given to whoever is voted POTY. :jawdrop:

WOW! That really sounds like a fantastic idea for a pic of the year Dutchgrown, there are so many talented individuals here that I know there will be no shortage of exceptional pictures to choose from!

Thanks for those nice words sunnyside, I am truly humbled to have had one of my photographs voted as POTM... Thank You All! There were so many great pictures this month, I just want to congratulate all of those nominated for their outstanding work! And of course, good luck to all of those nominees for December!
