Where on the aplication or rules dose it say I need a police check to grow my own reef???

It doesn't, from what I have read. A designated grower/provider for a patient requires no CDSA charges on their record, thus a record check is required. Not the actual patient/licensee him/herself, even for form "C"...

I stand corrected if wrong, but I'm 99% sure I'm right. Have been doing a lot of reading lately, and have filled out forms. Just waiting on the specialist's appt for my B2, everything else is complete.

We must fight the good fight, but do so peacefully and legally. Getting licensed is the best way ATM, IMO - too bad it's such a long path to take. The truth cannot be denied forever, and used responibly, cannabis is a good, er, no, great medicine.

Ya Police checks are for designated growers .. not sure if the experimently cannabis is asking for the same but it would make sence they would peace out Headband707

yep police check for a DG. this is a reg that might get thrown it in court someday as well. its unconstitutional to bar people with criminal records for drug cultivation (most likely recieved in time before MMAR came into existence or during a time when MMAR was declared unconstitutional) so its pretty silly to ban people from growing for patients if they have a mj cdsa charge .

Just got a criminal record check yesterday to be a DG for af and they go back ten yrs for any drug offense.My last was in 81 so mine came back as no crimial record found.
As for anyone with a liscense for themselves to grow no criminal check needed.

Hey Moe, I sure hope its not months for you. Once I had my specialist sign the B2 everything came registered mail in 5 weeks. That was including the Christmas/New years down time. According to the clerk I talked to, they are down to 4-5 weeks or less now. Last year HC was at a stand still

in my 4 years of licensing never once delt with popo, never will

they have been deemed by the courts of not being trustable with such info. the RCMP tried to get all the addresses of licenses but were shut down.
wish I new the court case? anybody able to confirm this?

A friend of mine just got his card.....he's not allowed to grow cause of an apartment grow op conviction 6 years ago.

He didn't have the card or paperwork on him when we met up. I would have really like to have seen it.
