I'm curious if it actually oscillates back and forth. Or if it's your typical Chinese-American translation and it only has 90* of rotation and doesn't move on it's own.

Follow up when you get it please.

If you look at the link on Amazon it has a few short vids showing user reviews of it osculating from different purchasers. I know the quality of the chinese stuff can be crap.

Just this guy, ya know?
Yeah it should oscillates, there is a video review that shows that. I've ordered vivosun products in the past, and they seem to be decent quality. It's not top of the line, but it wasn't bottom of the barrel either.

I got this via amazon and its the shit. What they did was simply do what should have been done long ago. They redesigned the mount to clip in a corner post of a tent and extend far enough to allow the fan to oscillate its full range and not touch the tent. I can see the color of the mount is slightly different from the fan but thats no biggie. Its quiet with the only noise is the air blowing.

Its adjustable in the up and down angle with a thumb screw to tighten it.

Thumbs up for me. I may end up with another one. Now I can take out the tower fan sitting in the tent which will free up space. Considering Im in a 2'X2.5' footprint tent thats the difference to make another plant possible. 3 in 5 gallon pots was my limit and now I may be able to squeeze 4 in. Going to try upcoming grow in a couple weeks.

I have been looking for years a easy way to clip a fan directly to a corner pole in tents. Looks like somebody finally figured out the need.
I ordered one and if it’s good I will order another.

Just a heads up I've heard of a few people having issues with these vivosun fans, one guy on Reddit had a vivosun fan oscelating fan burst into flames and almost burn his house down.

I know that secret Jardin makes one as well, I think it's called a monkey fan or something... I've heard mixed things about those as well but no catastrophic failures at least. :woohoo:

Can you throw up a link to that information?? Kind of like to see it.

In the pictures in that thread didn't the guy have a bunch of leaf material removed from the fan grating? Like he let a plant grow into the fan and that caused that? And I mean literally every brand of product on the planet has failures, the secret jardin fan on amazon has 3 stars because of how often the oscillating breaks. There is even a review mentioning electrical arcing inside the unit when he removed the cover. Pretty much everything is made in the same factories and is gonna break within a year or two anyway it seems like.

I blow more air out of my ass when I fart than that piece of shit fan will blow.

At 6" it's not going to move much air.

And, at 30+ bux, it borders being a rip off. That's a $6 fan at Walmart (with a standard flat clip rather than the 'pipe' clip.

A hose clamp will secure most fans to the tent pole.

That’s one of those things that’s so obvious I feel silly for not have thought of it myself. Very nice.

in this case the piece of plywood was part of the packing for the led lamp thats lighting that tent...and even better the lamp and the tent were free!
