plumbing question

Y

Maybe I am making this harder than it is. I am trying to drain my ebb and flow table and I am trying to figure out how to run the plumbing through the table itself. I really wanted a bulkhead type fitting but I am not finding what I want, at least locally?

Any ideas on this?

I have seen these, but I dont want a barbed bulkhead. Then I have to attach a hose and connect it to the PVC pipe I am running as the rez is 20 feet away. just more of a mess but that may the only option I have.

I was hoping to get something w/o barbs and that would plumb right to my 1" PVC pipe

Thanks Pico

I just found a bulkhead in my personal collection with 1" pvc on both sides. I bought it at my local hydro store. You can actually make one of these with a trip to your hardware store. Electrical condiut fittings.

part numbers

peco vta 100

peco vfa 100

then you just need some sort of rubber gasket that fits over the threads to provide a good seal.

A quick search of the internet and I came up with this http://www.truetex.com/bulkhead.htm a DIY on building basically this exact thing.
