Plugging a contactor into a extension lead?

Just wondering if it would be alright to put a 15amp contactor into a extension lead? The socket that the extension leads coming out of is a 32amp service, which supplies all the houses sockets (240v). i know if I used this 600 watt Ill still be within the 80% safety mark for elecricity.
just not to sure if a contactor should come of a main socket? Does really depend on the wire size of the extension lead? t

if u was to see mine youd shit yourself lol,,,,,,ive got a 4way plugged into a single socket (on 32 amp supply)into the 4 way is 2 more 4 ways ,into 1 of the 4 ways is a 15 amp contactor with 2 x 600's and another4 way coming out of that with 2 x 6"fans and 2X4" fans in it ,out the other 4 way is 210 watts of floros and 2 ocillating fans ,,,and it works just fine lol

so i'd say the answer was yes ,,btw im uk too :friends:

it dont all draw at 1 time and only pulls 12 amps at any 1 time , my dad said its ok and hes an electrician ,,but thanks for the concern, i will be changing it i got a seperate supply coming soon ... once i get round to it

I think It'll be alright too, I know what wattage I'm running on that circuit is no-where near 32amp. The most that gorw uses is 1000watts (if i plugged the 600watter in) The rest of the circuit aint using that much really!

Mine isnt great at the moment, there some 4 gang extenstions coming from a socket upstairs(the basement has no supply) but there are pleny of sockets up stairs,, and so are all not in the same thing, and the sockets that have stuff from the grow downstairs on...have nothing from the house on. Once I move, I wil; get an electrician to fit a few ring mains for me(that is If I cant get a suitable place with the wiring already done). So its ot erfect, but its not like theye all from one plug the another 4 gang, and another from that....im not that stupid, lol, as I say, thgey are all from seperate sockets. If I was going to be growing in this location for much longer, i would switch everything off for a day and put a couple of spurs from the ring mains upstairs cimng down to a board, but Im not,m so I wont.

roundtoit ,i need quite a few of them ,,,

seriously though i dont draw more than 6.2 amps at any one time and all the 4 ways go through relays ,so any signs of overloading they would switch off ,
i aint that stupid

and i got a 40 amp supply just waiting to go in ,but i need a couple more roundoit's

ps .i thought he meant conduit and that i should shove it up my arse ,but thats just the paranoia

If I plug this 600watter in, The most amount of power my garden is using is 900watts - that isnt even 4 amps on a 32amp circuit.

All I'll have is a extension lead coming from a socket on double plug, from the extension lead, Ill plug in my contactor for the light in one port on the extension lead, on the other port Ill have my exhaust fan and finally on the last port on the extension lead, will be a lil fan.

I have got a spark coming ''soon as I can Mate'' to run me a 32 amp service to my loft, but god knows how long he'll take to get round and do it.
