Please tell me this isn't what I think it is. I think I'm gonna puke.

I just found a couple of these on my lovely lovely BMR ladies 19 days into flower.

O.K. this looks like a male organ to me...I found what looked like an open one of these but there was no polen.

I am trying to be optimistic about this but I am starting to get that sinking feeling.

In my experience when a plant turns hermie it goes hermie. But this is strange. I am only finding one ball here and there. When I encountered hermies in the past they showed multiple ball brachs just like a male.

Is it possible that I can get a few balls but no real pollen?

I am seriously going to cry now because I am extremely low on bud and this was to be my Christmas stash. I will not have time to start fresh from seed :badday:

Can anyone tell me anything positive? Is it possible to get some of these balls but they are not fertile?

Possible yes but the times I encountered those were generally much later in flowering.

It is not just one plant....

It is not just one plant....

Thanks for all the support and especially the girl power, I can use it in this case.

I found this on one of the lower little branchlets on a different plant this morning.

Please tell me if these are immature banannas?

It can be managed buddy... just little Extra Time. I always like it when the bud spits a a couple of seeds.

WTF is that picture of Benito??? I have never seen that in my decade plus of growing :yoinks: But I admit to only seeing bananas coming out of male flowers also.... I have wondered what they look like if they appear on a girl, for your sake I kind of hope those are bananas for fear of the invasion of the body snatchers :D It could be worse

Well I can't make my mind up. That last pic does look like nanas, but I know what Drawoh means on the first pic. Some plants do put out single giant female buds at the node that look like male sacks but dont come out on a stalke like the male pods at the same points. The way to tell is to feel it. If it feels empty then it is a normal female bud, if it feels solid, esp if on a tiny stalk, then it is a male pod and needs removing.

I don't want anyone to cut down their plants (even the males) !!! I have seen false seed pods but they have never had segments like that one, I have also seen male flowers that look just like that photo showed too. Usually the false seed pods just kind of wrap around themselves in one piece. Male flowers look similar minus the hairs, save for the five segmented pod.... good luck Benito

Thanks for all the responses guys...I'm confused too. I guess since I cant really chop because I need the bud, even seeded, I will use this thread as a hermie/or not experimentation thread.

I had some Petrol that did the same and none of them turned into seeds. My first incling was to chop EVERYTHING lol but patience paid off and nothin bad happened! Just pay close attention when shit like that happens and dont jump the gun!

It seems one of Ben's plants did spout a few nanners but there was some ph flux in his hydro set up causing some stress. He has things under control I think. BOG

Just to be on the safe side you can call her Mandy.

Theres teardrop shapes and theres pod shapes and Im seeing alot of pods.

I've been trying millenium garden products for the first time...they have this Spring/Summer/Autumn + Micro 4 part system...In veg all was fine PH stability wise. Then in Bloom, boom the rez would drop down to like 4.00, I would raise it and it would happen again...the only time I saw that before is when I tried to go all organic...

Still I am wondering if it was my aggressive bending...here is a picture...this is not the BMR this is a Kush, but this is what I was going for with the BMR.

I was going to lay all the branches almost flat so I could turn all my side buds into cola-like monsters...I am wondering if I got greedy and something in the blueberry side of the genes got angry at me.

Howards pic is showing those false seed pods really well....You get a lot of them on the cheese....its the 1st preflowers that you identify the sex with, swelling up thats all but the last pic you posted does look like nanas for sure. Ive had a lot of that in the past year wioth all the different seeds Ive started...
dutch master do a product called Femenizer for dealing with hermies...it works great..I know coz It saved my ass with this plant

she started popping em out halfway through bloom but a spray of that stuff all over and left out of the growroom til shes dry, and it fixed it, only a few seeds, mostly immature-I think it aborts them or something ad no more nanas after just 1 treatment-you can repeat after 10 days if needed. Its safe too, only hormones although i wouldnt spray it later than 2 weeks before harvest to be on the safe side.... im so glad I didnt have to kill the plant because the smoke ruled...even though i didnt keep the plant around after coz that would be asking for trouble lol.

Hey Harry I did some research about the Dutch Master feminizer...I think they call it Ducth Master Reverse now...at least thats how it was on BGhydro. You have to mix it with Dutch Mastet penetrator which makes it foliar feed better...I might do this. Does anyone have any objections?

Just a quick update...I dropped my PH checker into my rez this evening...I am a douchebag.

Now I am back to friggin chemical drop testing which as you know is only ballpark accurate<sigh> I played around with the PH checker calibration screws for like an hour and a half and it is still all over the place, I am going to try and dry it out but I am not optimistic.

It is funny but my rez has been running PH high. I put drop after drop of PH down in it...and for some reason the down buffer seems to be having little effect to the millenium nutes...wierd....what a crappy time to lose my PH checker...

Damn it, I liked the Millenium nutes a lot in veg...Really nice and healthy see...

But the PH is acting up a bit too much in flower.
I may have to make the switch back to the ol' three part for the next grow.

Oh, I am narrowing down my hermie hypothesis.

On my biggie plant I think that the hermie was caused by PH flux...but I have also been seeing some male flowers on a smaller weaker plant, but only toward the very bottom...my canopy is very think so I think the lower hermie branches on the smaller plant are being caused by low light levels under the canopy...

I had a top44 pheno lately that produced some male flowers with no pollen in them.It was a weird 3 way branching pheno from Homegrown Fantaseeds.I checked them everyday, taking off most of them, and rubbed the flowers in my fingers to see if there was pollen.
After 2-3 weeks I found pollen in one of them.So I chopped them down not taking any chances, maybe 3-4 plants total.Found maybe 10 seeds in all the harvest.
