Speaking as an alumni of the northern illinois university, please send prayers to my alma matre, and its student body. On feb 14 at 3:00 pm a gunman opened fire in a geology class room, killing the professor and 3 students before turning the gun on himself. It is truly a sad commentary on society that such an act can occur. Please pray for that pathetic little corn town of DeKalb il.

Yeah that really is coward act to shoot innocent people when person cant find strenghts to carry on and decide to end his/hers life, but takes as much people with him as possible

You got my symphatys man! Must be a strange feeling going back to school right after this kind of shit occurs...

Sadly, this kind of act isnt only a problem in big countries, but it has spread it´s ugly face into small countries like Finland where I live! It´s global problem nowadays and whats more sad, is that we cannot do much for it!!!! Only option would be armed quards in every single classroom & corridor & student house/hall, which really doesnt sound good and most likely will provoke more idiots to play rambo in suicidemission

What we can do is that we pay better notice on student mentalcare and wish the best... You know guys/gals when somebody decides to carry out this kind of sick execution there is very little we can do to hamper it, unfortunately

just for the record theres 6 confirmed dead so far.And to think this is the 5th school shooting in the USA in the last week !!! Its sad to think that our innocent children arent even safe at school anymore. If they cant feel safe at school then where can they ? What a damn shame. My thoughts and prayers go out to all the victims and families. God bless you all.
