-I started my girls on 3/1/09 from seed. After showing taproots they were put into rapid rooters. After the roots started coming out of the sides of the rapid rooters the plants were transplanted directly into 1.5L pots of Happy Frog potting soil. The light cycle was 24/0 until they reached their third set of true leaves and then they were changed to on for 14hr. and 15 min. and off for 9hr. 45 min. The change is to get them acclimated to their future outdoor photoperiod. The first signs of problem showed up about 2 weeks in and on only one plant. It started with the fan leaves losing their waxy coating and drying up. Next the leaves turn brown, curl up, and die. The first signs started before they had been fed anything. On the lower half of the plants and it only affects the fan leaves. The problem moves slowly up the plant killing all of the fan leaves. I initially thought the problem was some sort of rust and sprayed all of the plants with an organic fungicide. This didn't stop the problem on the one that had problems but none of the other plants were showing any signs of problem. Then I noticed two other plants showing early signs and one of them was a C99. So now one biddy early has lost all except two sets of fan leaves and one biddy early and one c99 are showing very early signs. The worst biddy early has been removed from the room. During this they were fed twice with a solution of 1stp. Alaskan fish fertilizer per gallon of water, once a week. The feedings were started at 17 days and they were slightly yellowing. The feedings were stopped 2 weeks ago now they are watered with just plain bottled water. I hope I gave enough info I need a solution ASAP my entire season depends on these plants. Thanks.
-Would it be safe to clone before the problem is resolved?
-Should I avoid using clones from the affected plants if I can get enough from the others?
