What are the signs of transplant shock. I just put my plants outside without gradually giving it more real sunlight when I had them indoors. Also what makes the leaves curl up? Not a crispy curl. Like a mutated funny curl.Is this because of what I did?

NO WAY. I never put my plants that are going outdoors more than 15 hours of light. Its only the very top new growth growing that way. The rest of the plant looks completly healthy. They are all diffrent strains too. It looks like it is starting too grow out of it now. I still would like too know what caused it. I've been growing for 5 years the same method and same spot and never experienced this before.

Also dosnt transplant shock have to do with the roots are not?

Yes, transplant shock does have to do with the roots. When plants have been "stressed" by moving from one container to another the plant often will go into a defensive state where most of its energy is focused on repairing itself and not much else. Plants will come out of the "shocked" state anywhere from a couple days to a bit over a week depending on how rough of a transplant it was. After I transplant, I feed water with B1 added (thrivealive, Superthrive - watever) and this seems to get them back into shape fairly quickly. There are also anti-shock products out there that are supposed to assist plants in bouncing back.

I cant explain it, but what you described was the beginning of flowering. Regardless, if they have reverted, all is good....

RichdaFactor oh, don't cut it.... let it run its course....

The curls could just be genetic... some plants take on some very unorthodox tendencies.. ie leaf curls..

If I were in your shoes, I'd let 'em be.... get some pics up, and see where we are in about a week....
