the problem is pretty minor but its annoying. theres a design flaw with the system i bought theres a tiny bit of water spraying out the side of some of my aero trays and i cant figure out a way to stop it. heres some pics so you all know what im dealing with. its a very small amount of water spraying so you probably cant see it in the pics. anyone have any ideas?

Is the lid not sittin flush to the basin? AZ

it is its a design flaw with the system. ive talked to a store that sells these and has one of these running in the store and they have the same problem. they told me i gotta weather proof the sides but i dont know what they mean by that

They mean you have to line the sides with a material to stop the water from squeezing threw, some of that mold resistanct foam sheets from home depot with some waterproof epoxy will do the trick, cut to size check for leaks then glue in place... if the issue is that the lids not tight try placeing some red bricks on each corner plus centers of each side, some widemouth vice grips/clamps will work to but is a lil more $ .... its in as tight as its able to go its a design flaw. i cant picture any of this in my head do you have a link to these mold resistanct foam sheets your talkin about?

i also had the idea of, do they sell something in a can or tube thats meant to seal holes that i can maybe squeeze on? something thats very thick that wont drip down into the tray get what im sayin? it would also have to be removable and able to scrape off after dried

The strips that are used in windows, that's the stuff they're talking about. Comes in rolls, one side is adhesive.

something like this may help. GL

thanks. as far as the first link how does that shit work, what is it sticky on one side and thats supposed to hold in place? are you sure its gonna be able to hold in place over those little indents on the side of my trays? i just dont know if the area had to be a straight line or not. you see the 2 parts where in curves in that wont be a problem?

I made my own aero system using Superboxes. I tried weather stripping but it only improved the problem and didnt solve it. Even with stripping there will be a slight gap if you dont put some weight or pressure on it. Use a clamp

Rope caulk will also work, but it will harden onto your res and will be a nightmare to take off. The silicon wont come off very easily either
