PLEASE HELP!?! extreme yellowing on my sick mother plant...

hey all, this is my white widow x thai (local cross) mother plant almost 4 weeks into 12/12, shes in some scotts "premium" soil mix (i know, sorry i was broke at the time)...those nasty yellow marks have appeared on the fan leaves (on mostly the older upper fan leaves) a few days ago...i figured it was some sort of deficiency so i went ahead and flushed her on tues, and fed her 2oz of pb pro bloom with a gallon of tap water on wed(approx ppm 150-200) like i would normally do any feeding....i just got home today and noticed no new growth or weight put on and it seems the yellowing is spreading and getting way worse

can anyone help me identify the deficiency and how i should go about correcting it? thank you to everyone in advance who can lend me a hand

If you could get a close up picture of some of the effected leaves it would be helpful.

What is the temperature in there? How many watts and how close is the light. It looks like light bleaching. Plus you have the rams' horn shaped leaves which means they got a little overfed.

So I think it's light bleaching combined with a little overferting. Hopefully some one else with more experience will chime in.

Good luck

Overfertilized. Whatever gallon sized pot you have your plant in, flush it with 3 times as much water with 1/4 strength nutrient. I.E. 3 gallon pot would be flushed with 9 gallons. The water you flush it with should be bottled or r.o. You would then need 1/4 strenght nutrients added to ALL of the water being used to flush as pure water will not remove nearly as much build up as 1/4 strenght nutrient. Maybe even hang a couple of cfl's in there for a couple of days in place of your hps. This will slow down the photosynthesis and give the plant a really low stress environment to have a chance to fully recover without really "continuing" to flower. Keep the cfl's on the 12/12 schedule though. This will prolong flowering by several days, but you will reap the rewards in the yield by letting your little lady recover fully before blasting her with hella watts again. (taken from george cervantes by way of you tube -so, unable to quote the exact video)

Yes incubusflyuguy and Sproutco,

he overferted when he applied the PBP, but what about the discoloration he had before he fed with the pbp. It wasn't overferting then, so he'll still have the same problem even after he follows your instructions for flushing.

yeah i already flushed em on tues after i noticed the discolorations cause i figured it was some sort of nute lockout or salt buildup...as for the 2 oz pb bloom/per gallon ratio i was feeding with...that was the manufacturers suggested feeding schedule, these thais can take alot of nutes so i figured that was about right if not too little, they were loving high dosages of it and feeding real well with a nice growth rate before all this happened

Everytime I look at the second to last picture, i think to myself "damn that looks a lot like the time I fried the shit out of one of my plants with a metal halide". But like I said it's hard to tell from the pictures. A close up of some of the leaves will help a lot.

Less is more! It looks like you have overfed. Keep it simple as Cannabis already thrives with the minimal amounts of food, as Nitrogen is abundant in the air alone. The lights may be too close as well but it doesn't look like that from the photo. Go with water alone (Ph between 6.3-6.8) for a few days with plenty of air circulation and see what happens. Success.

honestly, LOOKS like an iron or zinc deficiency. Get the soil ph down to around 6.3 for a couple of days then take it up to 6.7 and KEEP it there. Trust me on this dude. I have no way of proving that I know that, especially with the low post count, but I swear, follow my directions and you will be surprised. Either way, best of luck, looks like a really nice Sativa heavy hybrid. I REALLY hope that baby comes out.
