Please help diagnose Bonsai mothers

a little spinosad will kill the thrips in one shot mate.

You'll get more familiar with root bound symptoms as you go.
Ive had more than a few plants break their solo cups with root mass ha!
Lost my revered sour bubble male bonzai dad to thrips and poor care when my back went out and i couldnt walk for a couple weeks...

Another thing is they look like they could use some mag, i noticed my bonzais after few months nood a bit of the good stuff heh.

Thanks everyone, what a nice site. I was not thinking bugs, but nutrients or air. I did get a picture of one of the little bastards (Thripes right?).

I sprayed the leaves with Captain Jack (HD) and flushed the soil with SNS 302. I also added ¼ tsp of crushed up mosquito dunk on the top of the soil.
