Hello everyone...i currently am working in a bathroom with a 400w mh and BADLY need to get into flower...my plants are getting too big but i can't put them into bud until I get rid of these damn mites that snuck in on a clone a month ago...i have bombed the room TWICE with permethrin insect bombs...have watered with neem...sprayed with neem...I am a grower of decent knowledge, certainly no expert, but not usually one to be stuck like this either....can anyone please tell me what i need to do to have them COMPLETELY gone forever?....if i can't get into flower soon i won't have enough room to finish what i have....very very strapped for time.....i know many of you are professionals...please help me

Well bayer has some good chemical solutions even for resistant mites .

Treat them a few times for a week and it should be gone , also spray the whole room.

Aftert this grow disinfect ur room.

Natural predators don't work well indoors sadly :(

Problem is my room is perpetual...i need to kill them during the grow as there won't be a break I have several mothers to keep my lineage....the problem was knocked down twice with permethrin bombs made by raid...that would kill most of the critters, however, after each bomb they were back in small numbers within a week...im working in a 5x5 area with about ten plants ranging from a foot and a half to two really big 3 foot girls that need to be flowered and out....any other ideas than that spray?...i was thinking no pest strips because i haven't tried them, and if i have to floramite, but at $325 a quart it seems a bit insane even to split with my two partners....hellllllppppppp please

Well if u use the bayer spray u should spray it once , cover all the leaves top and botom.

This will kill the hatched spider mites but not the eggs.

That's why after 3 days u repeat the proces and then 3 days later again.

If u leave eggs and they hatch ur darlings will be infested again in no time.

GOD I HATE SPIDER MITES:dueling::dueling::dueling::dueling:

ok here's the deal...talked to my man at the local hydroponic store and he recommended two different brands, floramite and avid...both are extremely expensive but were formulated for use on cannabis...the floramite is the do all say all according to him...it must be because they don't even carry it and he still said to get it...but....thats's around $235 a quart...yea...no....i went with the next best, avid...which completely erradicates all mites and eggs with a once a day treatment for three consecutive days...ill let you know how it works as he very strongly recommended these two

Well the borg is a bitch and will take constant attention from you.

Least expensive way Neem oil. You will need to spray every 3 days drenching the bottom of the leaves and also misting the top. Since you want to go int bloom quickly Neem treatment might take to long. If you treat plant from early veg regularly you can control with neem.

Your best option is Floromite or a new product called Juno. I switch off between the 2 so the Borg don't adapt. I have seen no mites since starting this program. I still neem between monthly applications and have had no problems since.

I know it's expensive but it's the only way to control quickly. A lot of Hydro stores will sell small amounts of Floromite to make it cheaper to attain. You will need to ask around.

Good luck I feel for you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If you've really got a problem with a true "infestation" (esp continuous cycling), then you are going to have to resort to drastic measures. This means extensive efforts using multiple agents over several weeks to a month, and then, hopefully you will have done a thorough enough job to get all of them. Probably you won't, but maybe you will... if not, then manage the populations & live with it until you can shut down for a few weeks & start over.

Don't go toxic/agricultural grade chem's that may/may not be food grade/approved... you don't need that shit. Don't go systemic poison- stays in the plant/cuttings.

You need to research the multiple methods to deter & kill all stages/locations. You have to get everything/everywhere in your garden. You will have to do this for weeks- multiple applications & constant/daily monitoring. No one spray is going to take care of them all, unless you want to go extremely toxic & risk killing your plants as well. Diligence & effort. They suck...
