please help! auto flowering light cycle question---

I'm 10 days into growing some auto pineapple express under 6 60w cfl bulbs in soil and I haven't noticed very much growth- I think the reason may be that they've been on a 20 hour light cycle since I planted them. I've used the same setup in previous auto grows but I allowed them to veg in 24 hours of light for the first few weeks-- just wanted to try something new this time-- thinking about switching it to 24 hours, but I'm worried changing the light cycle will not be good for them- am I early enough in the game to change it without hurting them?

Thanks in advance--
all the best

It won't hurt to switch schedules.

In my experience they will get larger and sex later under 24 hours.

Yep.
I've always done better with AF's under 24hr lights. Far better yields too because they do grow bigger w/ 24hr light.

But on the flip side, they take longer to finish due to the added days of veg time, but if that isn't a concern and you just want them to get as large as they can then go for it :)

Good point!

You can even flip em 12/12 earlier and grow popcycle buds.
