Ok so finally decided to whip up some cannabutter and happy cookies!

Used 1oz Northern Lights BUD and 1lb butter. Placed in crockpot with about 1-2cups of water and let simmer all freakin day.

Next day used the solidified green goodness to make oatmeal cookies (directions on the lid of oats) and ALL of the butter went into it.

Now here's my problem: I ate one and 2hours later... nadda. No buzz, no high, nothin.

I was under the impression that using bud would make the butter very strong, but now I'm wondering if I didnt fuck something up cause I sure shoulda felt something from 1 of them...??

when you say you cooked it all day.... how did you cook it... if you boiled it.. the temp could have gotten to high and all ther precious thc might have been floating around in your kitchen instead of in your butter... other than that is sounds like you did everything just fine...

just thought of another question... did you grind up the buds first or just throw them in?

probably let the temp get too high, simmering may sometimes even be too hot. When I make butter I more or less heat it up with nug, never letting butter get to boiling point. if it does for too long, just cook off thc. when I first started making brownies I took a qp of bc shake and burnt the shit out of the nug and didnt feel shit. made some a few months later with less than ounce of nug and never letting butter boil and remember thinking I was high off a blunt, mainly cause it was really really late or early in morning, but just remember that batch was a little too much.
