please help a newbie out

first let me say thanks for getting this site back up.

This is my first grow and I am not sure can you help me tell if this is a male plant?

Yup once you spot the male ball, they tend to multiply very quick.Before ya know it pollen is everywhere. These are some helpful references in spotting males and females. Next go round try growing a few more plants to get a better chance of some ladies. :wink:

Males tend to show up before the ladies...so if you have any more plants you might have a chance at a yield.

Thanks for the help I have been lurking in the shadows and reading as much as I can but needed you help to make sure I was right. I have 4 more so hopfully I will get at leased 2 females for this run.
