i ran into a little issue yesterday where all that tips of the plant were browning pretty bad. i flushed them good yesterday and i am thinking of adding a little N to the mix anything else you would add? it was really bad on one of my HB and my EG started to look kinda bad as well what should i DO....

The one time flushing can hurt you is when you have a potassium def...

and thats clearly what you have....

The clear clue is the brown margins or serrations....

Knowing what you have been feeding and the medium will always lead to a better diagnosis....

what i feed is House and gardens cocos A for the first part or flowering 8-0-11 and once i hit flowering i switched in some cocos B @ 2-4-10 with Molasis and Humbolts pruplemax and Gravity. my soil is FFOF and some FFLW mixed in hope this helps but what can i do to help this. maybe add a little N or what clears up Potas?

Well that looks like it should have enough K....

any chance you are feeding like at half strength????

Wow, coco A & B are meant to be used together, even in Veg. They're also designed for Coco as a medium, not peat-based pre-nuted soils like FFOF.

H&G makes a line for soil - try that next time :)

It's hard to tell what exactly your problem or problems might be.

Can you post more pics? Can you provide all the info requsted in the "Complete Guide to Sick Plants"

What I would do at this point, is take small samples of the soil mix, preferably when it's a bit dry - from an inch or two down in your pots - put it in a measuring cup or jar, and add just enough distilled water (or water from your dehumidifier) to saturate it. Let it stand for an hour or so, then pour off the water into a shotglass and measure EC & pH.

This will give you insight into what's really going on in the soil.

if you take the Cocos and use it to the soil specs it works as well. so said the HG reps that were at my local hydro shop. and no i am feeding at full strength. that pic says it all on 2 of 3 plants most all the leaves have that brown burn on them all the way to the top. one is an Earlygril and one is a HAshberry. i was just wondering if when i feed next sould i go with a half strenght and use both A and B or what should i do. i dont have an ec metter and the ph was roughly in the upper 5's. umm i dont kno what else i can explan as far as invierment. temps are roughly 75 durning the day and 70 ish at night with a MH 400w umm yea any ideas on what might fix this would be very helpfull...

Not perfect, but they look ok to me anyway. I would adjust ph a little if it is in uppear 5's, top dress with some horti lime and add some to the soil mix next time.

Lower the pH a bit like others have said and get some calcium into the gal, calcium lockout due to higher pH levels, or due to not being enough in the plants diet and since you are using RO water, it has no micros in it which you need to have a micronutrient supplement to add to everywatering to ensure there is enough for the plant.

you have any micronutrient supplements or have access to hydro shops?

FFlw has little nutes as it's for cuttings and seedlings, your plant is far beyond that stage.

I would get some cal mag, sensi cal, earthjuice microblast, catalyst and some others, any one of those will work; your best bet is to get cal mag or sensi cal to cure your problem you are having.

The rest of the ones I listed are complete or near complete microsetup, microblast does not have calcium in there though, so if you get that, you would have to use something else to supplement calcium.
