Please Diagnose This Clone

Can anyone tell me if this is powdery mildew? This is one of three Pineapple Kush clone from a club and I don't want to put them into my closet with making sure they won't spread the plague to my other Kushies.

Is that an insect bit taken out of that leaf on the left?

Does it wipe off when you touch it?

No it does not wipe off and yes I think something took a bite out of it before I got it a week ago maybe two.

It's not mildew if it does not wipe off.

Clones coming from clubs are notorious for getting mites, have you noticed any bugs on the plant? Check the under side of the leaves, depending on how good your sight is, you may need a magnifying glass..... you can see them running on the underside of the leaves, they eat the top layer and suck sap out of the leaves, leaving white specks on the leaves that does not come off.

So what could it be then if not the PM? It still looks fishy to me. I should check them for mites though. Thank you for the assistance.

Is it possible to post a close up that is in focus? That would help a lot. Do you have a tripod?

Try to get good even light on the plant, and try a shot with the flash, as well. If it is to bright, hold a piece of paper over the flash while you take the picture to diffuse the flash.

The more pix at different angles, the better.

At first glance the plant seems healthy and perky, so I don't think it is in danger at the moment. Perhaps the club was misting them and it is calcium water stain on that leaf.

It looks like it had/has a bit of a calcium def, but wait until fully rooted and growing before concluding this is a problem. Could be from before or from cloning.

Ya, those look like mites with the close up pics, at least it does to me, did you spot any bugs on the under side of the leaves? Black ones? white ones?
You should ask if the club you got it from had a mite infestation, they are very prone to having them, see it very often.

Low and behold! I looked on the underside with a magnifying glass and I found a few little white critters, not many but they were there just the same. I can't believe I missed them in the first inspection.

Ya, better get some neem oil on them stat! Apply every 7 days, while your plant is small it will be easier to rid of them, so get rid of them now while you still have the upper hand!

Anyone bringing clones into there garden from a club or friend should ALWAYS check first before putting them into your garden, they should always be quarantined, just in case. I have seen many peeps bring clones into there garden and some peeps had 100+ plants and had to deal with mite problems, you have that many plants and you are going to lose hair and sleep when you got bugs on them.

Clones are easier to handle when you got bugs, the bigger the plant the harder it is to get rid of, but by no means does it make it easier to kill the bastards, but it does make it a lot easier to control them with so little leaves on the clone.

I am using Foxfarm "Don't Bug Me" do you have any idea how well that works?

I Have no clue how it works, first time I have heard of it.......
There are many remedy's out there, but since you have some time before they get out of control, go ahead and try it. I would be interested in seeing if it does.

but, since the clone is badly eaten up by mites, and it has so little leaves and it being small, you do want to try to get rid of them as quickly as possible.
