Stayed away for awhile. Glad to be back.

First thought was PM. But doesn't look like what I experienced when I had indoor PM issues.

Any ideas.

This is a very low effort outdoor single tree grow. But want to make the most of it.

Thanks for help

The patern and build up at edges makes it look like something evaporated leaving a white residue. Potassium silicate can do that.

That was my thought too. Or some insect secretion. But I really have no clue.

Just sorta testing the new ground out. We bought a farm this year. And I wanna know how the natural soil buds taste.

Insect or bird shit? They can do that if you have a bird or two sitting around the bush or in a tree above it. They shit on leaves in just a few spots and it's not all the way washed off from rain storms. Might be more of a long shot but possible :dunno:

I was gna say it looks like a nutrient film.. Its hard to tell. Could have been a bird shat that was wet down by water, than evaporated.. Keep an eye on it..\\

Read the post above after I posted, but this was my exact first thought!

As long as those birds aren't shitting on your colas, I wouldn't worry.
If they are, I know a guy who can make those birds "disappear" ;)

saw something simillar 2 years in a row, on all plants...only smaller spots than yours...but same type...pale white with edges a bit harder...i was and still am confused with that phenomenon, because i know it wasnt any dryoff from anything...and i knew it wasnt mildew, because i saw alot of mildew...i know it wasnt birds...dont remember any other ideas that i had guessing what could it be, but i know i dismissed all of them based on facts...

never figured it out, but it never hurt plants...except maybe small percentage lower light absorption then it would be without these spots...

What about this scenario? Maybe nothing but what are your thoughts?

What about you have a plant in the morning that has either rain or dew on it from the night/day before. Wind picks up and spreads dirt and dust around throughout the air. This dust settles on the plant and naturally collects on the water droplets and dew. This in turn dries leaving the collected dust in place with those rings.
