Yep you're vegging so whatever your favorite VEG regime, I prefer lights on 24/7.

man you shouldn't get too cut if these clones don't strike, it sometimes turns out that way

reading some guides on cloning would be a good move too. I like Buck's - http://www.icmag.com/ic/showthread.php?t=92681 :yeahthats

It is not natural for the plant to have light 24/7. It stresses the plant out and your yield will be much less. The babes like humidity, but not too much. The dome is a good idea, but watch out 'cause you don't want root rot either. I prefer to mist them with water throughout the day. They like the attention. Do you have a fan in there? They like the breeze and mist. Think Hawaiian weather and you are there dude!

Umm 24/7 is perfectly fine man. In some genetics plants will flower with even 18 hours of light on. Dont spit bad knowledge.

yes chubbynugs there's been numerous tests about 24/7 lighting versus many other options and the differences are not great.

20/4 seemed to give best yields but I prefer to keep it as simple as possible and I do not need that extra timer or 2 (the extra costs, the extra possibility of fault with timer and the chance increases of hermies due to bad light scheduling, etc.)

That's why I suggest using your regular veg lighting schedule, keep everything as dialed in as possible. Make as few changes as possible.

24/7 lighting can hurt clones? Never heard that before but I sure do appreciate experienced voices sharing their knowledge. It'll give me something to investigate, for my own understanding =)

Sweetheart, I never spit. My statement wasn't directed at you personally. It has just been in my experience that the clones yield more when they have a few hours rest. Yes, I have tried it your way and found what works for me. Your way is good too. I just spoil my plants. I wonder if there is a difference in female growers and male growers. I spend time with my plants and talk with them. I mist them more than I water them. Things like that. I take my time with them and found that the reward is great. The plant gives back what you give it. I wish you all pure Maluhai.

To each there own but i have tried all ways of veg and there really is no difference in 20/4 or 24/0. As long as you are feeding your plants correctly they will photosynthesize correctly. I just dont wanna have to set another timer for no reason. I would rather pay the extra 20 bucks a month to run my veg light 24/0. As long as you are doing what is working for you its all good though. I am happy with peeps just growing some MJ whether it is good or not. I would think plants might like the ladies a lil more then us dudes. After all they are the same sex as you women LOL. Evil plots.
