plants putting on the most weight

hi guys another question for you, is it true that plants put on the most weight the last two weeks before the chop

It can be true, but I would think it all depends the nutrient regiment and method of feeding.
So many factors invovled with cultivation.
Osmosis due to lack of food or water?
Simple water retention equals weight gain.

I'm no expert, but that makes at least 2¢ to me.
