Plants not flowering??!!

Hello,

I have a small closet grow right now. My first grow, and these ladies have been through a lot of hell. The last week or so I have been able to get everything in check, but problems beforehand included high temps, low ventilation, light timer malfunctions resulting in 1 or 2 days of 16+ hours of light, bug larvae in the soil that cleared with mosquito dunks, nute deficiencies and overfert, you name it, these plants have seen it. I think the only thing that has been stable throughout was pH. I have 8 small plants (bagseed put into 12/12 after 1 week veg) in 16oz containers in FFOF soil and 1/3 perlite in a 2'x1.5'x4' tall space under 150w hps and 43w cfl. Only 3 of them are budding after 55 days or so (each looking like they'll pull about 2-5 grams each). The ones that haven't flowered are very sativa, but seem to be showing new growth as opposed to bud.

I plan on chopping the budding ones in another 5-10 days. Should I chop the rest of the ones that aren't budding, or is there still a chance of getting something out of them if I wait a couple more weeks. I'm not too concerned as it's bagseed, I've realized that I've absolutely destroyed these plants being my first grow, and I already have 4 more bagseed plants in the flowering room 1 week into 12/12.

If they haven't started flowering at this late in the game, I would say they are an extremely long flowering sativa as well. Harvest what you have, and either cull the sats, or throw them outside and hope for the best come fall. I personally wouldn't waste the time. My 2 cents.

Wait it out.. some sativas can take 2 weeks to show a sign of a bud.
Maybe you have haze genetics and those plants are sensitie and are late bloomers.
Hang in there... all the best to you.

I'd say he's waited a little over 2 weeks :bashhead: Good luck, whatever you decide bro.

Could you have light leaking into your closet preventing flowering?

Thats what was happening with my dealio, but I have since put a tapestry over the door

covering all gaps. Time will tell if this makes a difference.

55 Days ?!?!!?

55 Days ?!?!!?

Are ya sure ya don't have a light leak somewhere? If they haven't started budding in 55 days I don't think I'd waste my time either. I think ya got somethin wrong tho...a light leak er a fucked up timer? Good luck! BC

where in the closet was the saTivas opposed to the other plants. Closer to the light pollution? If you are not concerned trash them.

I would have to agree with pretty much everyone here; sativas take a lot longer to flower; but if light leaks are available the plants won't flower out and will confuse the hell out of them.

THe kind of light that we give our plants is much different compared to natrual sun light, even if you were growingoutside and we had a full moon bright in the sky; the type of light that comes from the moon would not phase the plants outdoors into thinking it was a "light leak" type of thing..... nature is truly a freaky thing

Pretty weird ehh ;)
