plants in plastic bags for few days?

I know strange question but planning to put a few plants /they are in bloom alredy/ together with pots /whole damn thing/ into some plastic white pvc bags for few days lets say I take a plant and put it together with pot into plastic bag and there will be no air exchange inside that bag for lets say 3 days so bag will be air tight shut.

light will get thru plastic they wont be in darkness for 3 days dont worry.
idea behind this is to get rid of smell during bad weather mean rain and high humidity after bad weather is gone they will be released from bags.

What do you guys think will they survive???
Will try anyway but intrested what do you think about this am I nuts?

I don't think it will end well for you at all. Especially if you are later into flowering you will probably see some mold, mildew, and budrot. Plants need to breath and transpire too. I don't see them surviving unless there is some source of CO2 in the bags.

Had plants in black plastic bags for 2 days in week 6 because of an apartment inspection... they were a bit droopy but finished up alright.

Mold and budrot are serious concerns, though. Especially if it rains, the humidity inside those bags will be insane.

Tell us exactly what you are trying to achieve by doing this and maybe we can come up with an alternative?... It's a really bad idea if you consider the respiration needs of the plants!
