Plants flowering under 24/0

Hey guys. My Girl Scout Cookies have started flowering on the lower branches only. I am about to switch to 12/12 with these girls so it's not a huge problem. I'm more curious than concerned.

Lighting is 24/0, K5 Kind LED set to 60/100/100.
Technaflora nutrients
Ebb&Flow, 2 hours off 15 mins on
13 gal reservoir, 73 degrees
pH is controlled, set to 5.8
Temp constant 75 degrees, RH 65-70%, 900-1300ppm CO2
Circular airflow around plants

All in all it's an ideal environment. The light has never been off at any point. I have had an issue with the res starting to smell scummy, which was a new problem for me. I responded by adding 1/2 cup of 3% H2O2 to decent effect (and yes I know that is a controversial measure). I have since started to properly aerate the res and have not needed to continue adding H2O2. Could it have been the H2O2?

There has also been times when the plants weren't getting enough nutrients, burning through 100ppms a day at the 4-600 mark. They showed some deficiencies but I have since fixed that problem.

Other than that, due to the fact that it's only the lower branches that are flowering, could it be that the canopy is just too thick?

Those are just pre-flowers/ pistils. most strains do this in veg. Your plant is proud of its sexual identity.

Were these plants grown from seed? that might be why its taken so long to notice.

for your funky res you can do a capfull of bleach to keep it sterile, used to add it to my aero cloner all the time.

also SM90 works great if you want to pony up a couple bucks, smells great too. 1ML/gal and you will never have root zone nasties.

peroxide will work but it is very short lived.
