I've been growing in hydro for years now and have a tray with three 12 inch wide rockwool slabs, four feet long. I make a fresh batch of 5 gallons of nutrients every day, water them with plugs in the drain holes and let it soak for 5-10 minutes, then drain. In past years I've usually ended up with at least 2 gallons of waste that was unused, but in this recent crop it seems like there's barely over a gallon left when I drain.
Right now they are in the third week of flower and I'm feeding: 100 mL/5 gal PureBlendPro Bloom, 30 mL/5 gal Liquid Karma, 30 mL/ 5 gal both Rhizotonic and Cannazym, with the occasional addition of 15 mL/5 gal CalMag and 10 mL/5 gal Hydroguard. In past grows I used to do a bit more nutrients at this stage, with 120 mL/5 gal PPB Bloom and 40 mL/5 gal Liquid Karma.
Should I start watering more often? Are they telling me they want more nutrients?
In the attached picture, I used to get drained amounts near the blue line but in this crop they are near the purple line.
