Planting Outdoors Marijuana in tropical climates

Planting outdoors marijuana in the Caribbean is less frustrating than planting in the Northern hemisphere,you don't have to worry about the cold because we have sunlight all year round(less in the rainy season) and we have great soil for planting weed especially in the volcanic countries like mine Saint Vincent & The Grenadines,you can plant seeds outdoors(once covered to prevent birds and ants eating your seeds) while in the northern hemisphere 50% of the year its to cold so you gotta germinate indoors,we only get 12 hrs of light(which isn't a bad thing) so buds aren't usually humongous all year round(best buds start in months like August to December anything after that will be smaller) the soil is rich,very rich in volcanic countries so fertilizer isn't a big issue but you Still gotta feed your plant rain helps a lot with the watering process.If you need any help or have any questions about planting outdoors in the tropics let me know I'm a 10 year grower so I know a thing or 2

Your post was a few months ago so hopefully you are still around. I am in Costa Rica. The soil is volcanic and the weather is warm about now because we are just hitting in the dry season.

I like the idea of putting a seed in the ground rather than germinate at home and carry the small plants to the grow site. I will protect it from slugs and deer etc.

I am undecided about if I can plant at this time of year. We get about 11.5 hours of sunlight per day and this will extend to about 13.75 in July. This means that the days are getting longer and not shorter, which is what plants like to start flowering.

I will grow sativa. I assume that I am OK with autoflowering plants, although these will be small. I messaged a seed bank and they said I would be OK with feminized seeds and that they will flower after about 4 months +/-

Is this your experience? Should I have planted several months ago or can I plant now? And what would you recommend I plant?

I always wondered if you can grow in jungles. I know you have different climates in Central America but do you know if bud will grow in those suffocating type jungles?
