Plant Count Pot Size and Lights

75 5 GALLON pots.. 2 1000s in a 8x10.. 1 1000 in a 5x5 and another 5x5 .. since we moved i have sold him the 2 5x5 tents i made from pandafilm and pvc.. and i sold him all the equipment to make the move easier on me.. since i have other equipment with me now anyways..

but he wants to have like 50 plants in 5 gals under 2 1000s in the 8 x 10.. and 25 under 1000 in a 5x5.. and then he has some of my crosses that he is testing flowering for the first time. with clones waiting to see which is going to be a keepr .. if any..

but heres the situation.. i really thing unless he trims that back alot .. they will overgrow that room and he will have nowere to put it.

hes about to say fuck it.. flip into flower and figure it out then..

hes in NY.so .. i was wondering. if he throws them into flower now.. and wen it gets nice enough outside toss the ones that he cant fit outside.. when would be a good time to toss them outside to continue to flower.?

2000w in an 8x10 = 25w/sq ft. - half enough.
1000w in a 5x5 = 40w/sq ft - barely enough.

Why so many plants? It's not about how many plants will fit the space. It's about how many watts of light to adequately light the space, regardless of number of plants. Good luck. -granger

yes plant counts don't effect yield. more light and environment then anything. if u r restricted in count like most of us u really need to make em count. grow bigger plants in bigger pots, while lowering ur count keeping around .5 gpw yield!

i hit prety close to a gpw with almost exact same setup. with these strains .

the strains i gave my boy to flower out while i move.. its wierd they form wierd colas under the bulb but further from the bulb.. they look sooo much better.. i htink they are light sensitive..

what would think would yield more.. 16 plants in 5 gallon grow bags flipped at bushes like 3ft tall by almost 3 ft around.. ? or.. 80 plants in 1 gallon grow bags.. flipped at 12 inches.

If he puts them in flower now, they will be done long before they would flower naturally outdoors.

if u have a spot to veg them for a while longer u could just veg them into monsters until u can put them outside in a few weeks.

Hi everyone, first timer here. I have a question about my set up. i have a 1.2m square grow tent with 3 beauty's growing in 9gallon pots (flexi-tubs) under 2 600w hps. Am i on the right lines or have i to much or not enough light. i am having trouble with my temp aswell and am currently got em at 32.c but damm those lights kick out some heat

Wow, 1200 W in about a 4'X4' tent. That is amazing. The growth must be strong.

Are your lamps ducted?
