planning new sites for next year & need advise

I moved and cant grow in my old areas so I'm looking for new areas and new styles to grow next year.

I am looking at a swamp and a low laying forest with a river as the two locations I will be growing. I will be going for a walk this week to the first area and see if I can find spots mid season. I want to grow Fem/ White Widow and Fem/ Easy Rider at the two area with each area having two groups of 2 or one group of 4.

Since the two strains are totally different size I was planning on two different sized totes, 3 Gal for the auto's and 10 gal for the W.W plants. The totes will have the bottoms cut so they take water from the swamps and low laying land. The totes will be peatmoss-promix-triple mix starting from the bottom up, as well each tote will get organic natural fertilizer and time release fertilizer. Each tote will hold 2 plants for a total of 16 plants.

here is a quick list of what I'll need for totes/soil:

4 x 3gal tote = 48L
4 x 10gal tote = 160L
total soil needed = 208L

so I figure I can break it down to this formula:

2 x CIL Triple Mix = 60L
1 x premier peat moss(2.2cu.ft.) = 62L
1 x premier pro-mix, hanging planter mix ( for the water obsorbancy)( 3.8cu. ft. ) = 85L
Total soil from this = 207L

soil additives:

  1. dolomite lime
  2. bone meal
  3. blood meal
  4. worm castings
  5. Osmocote
Since this is just me reading and learning about swamp tube style growing, I am wondering if anyone see's were I can change my plan or make improvements.

Use dark green or brown totes.

I would pick strains that finish around the same time that way limiting the amount of trips to the patch..

Pray that you don't get a shit load of rain.

I have enough spray paint to make them camouflage but agreed. The reason I was thinking an auto and a late harvest together is in case rippers know the area I might still get a harvest off.
