Planning A New Water System

Hey everyone, this is my first thread out of Intro and just want to say thanks for the work everyone has put into their threads so far. I have learned a lot already.

Right now I am working on developing the watering system for a 20 light room. The one I worked in last just had us mixing neuts/h2o in a 55g drum and then hauling 10g buckets of that to the pots. You can understand that this would be harder than one would like it to be. Especially hard on the knees once the plants start flowering and you cannot walk between them but have to crouch under.

Anyway, the plants will be in 30g smart pots under 20 1000w lights. I'll get a basic sketch of the room setup later. Previously it has just been on concrete with any water spilled out drained to a grate.

Meant to add but can't find the edit button, the room is around 650 square feet and if anyone has advice/experience working with a water system for this size grow I would appreciate the help!

Some more info:
soil grown
watered every ~3d once flowering
floor is open, looking for a way to water them more efficiently than hauling buckets by hand.

Why does everyone these days try to hang 20 lights THEN learn how to grow???
Dude not to be a dick but your putting the cart before the horse.
If you cant toss together a few types of watering systems know how to trouble shoot them and maintain them i really think your askin for trouble tryin to run 20 lights.
To answer your question though, a well designed pressure compensated system an bobs your uncle.

If you checked my interest post you would know I already know how to grow! :) I understand your frustration with total newbies coming in though.

I definitely have ideas for a watering system and basic pump>pipe system is easy enough to put together. I was wondering if anyone had any novel ideas or just something clever to get my ideas flowing for my project!

Yeah we actually did use water wands for awhile but could not find a brand that lasted more than a couple weeks as much as we used them. Setting up this time we will definitely have the plants on dollys, setting up the smartpots without them the first time was a big mistake.
