hey guys, I am wanting to do a seed plot next year but dont really want to tend to a whole extra plot all season long, So im wondering if I can start the seed run plants real late, (like august) and still have enough time for them to sex and make mature seeds by middle of October?

ya you could. but they would be delayed in flowering compared to plants started earlier, might pass that on to the seeds? I think would prob be better seeds by taking clones off plants from your regular plot or whatever and putting them out late July or so. so they are still mature plants and finish on pretty much same time as they normally would

I put a couple clones out in my flower garden this year in late July, they are about a foot tall right now and loaded with seeds. nobody has even noticed them
