that sounds like an impressive bit of work those guys pulled off there. as long as its safe and people can get access to it then things would be pretty positive. the thing that wasnt clear was if it would rid you of the infection or just pummel it for a while. often those types of treatments have relapses that are far more severe than the original, you know people often seem to go down hill faster on a relapse

I dont think its spreading seed who is condeming them. the news is good. the task of getting it to those who need it is a difficult one but its one that some body will take responsibility for. Its just a matter of who but .....if no one steps forward then there is no hope....

I didn't condemn poor black people. The system did way before our time. I'm just saying pretty much what Treble stated. I am always hearing 'breakthrus' for the AIDS virus yet the number of infected folk keeps going up. Our governments keep pledging to make AIDS a priority but it always falls short and usually gets swept under the rug whenever something more important arises. Naw. Govt.s have no real interest in helping poor people. We aren't worth much. Govt.s are a business. And business' don't invest unless there is a return. Hell, in my opinion even christianity was invented as a conglomeration of african religions recreated with white gods and prophets to manipulate and export culture as a means to control africa. For quite a while now the Arabs and Islam are replacing the christians as the oppressors and slave traders who abuse this beautiful continent. The problem is indigenous peoples of africa and the americas had learned to live with their environments and have everything provided to them through nature. They didn't need to subjugate other cultures to live the way they wanted. They already had everything they needed. However colonial empires have eliminated all of this.

you cant generalize all africans like that man.. there are still groups out there that kill what they need and live off the land like man use to...
One of the biggest problems with AIDS in Africa is the sexual practice there of men having their wives or prostitutes dry out their vaginas with a rag before sex. That produces more friction, but also causes friction burns inside a woman's vagina that makes it more liable for catching AIDS. There are several groups trying to educate the natives about these practices and get them to use condoms.
There is also a professor at a university hospital who is developing a vaccine for Herpes. It keeps you from getting it and puts it into remission if you have it. Should be out in 7-10 years.
