pistils changing colors

so right now is day 32 of flowering and most of the girls will take 9-10 weeks for full maturity. i've already noticed some of the pistils are turning colors...is this normal? should they be turning orange already?

No they shouldn't be, unless they somehow got pollinated.

Wild guess... feminized seed seedling went hermie and threw some early "nanners".

no, they are all from clones and i don't think any hermied....here are some pics...these are mr nice black widows

If you picked up the clones from a reputable source, I wouldn't worry about it being pollinated.

There are a number of strains that show colored pistils well before they're ready to harvest. This is normal.

yea a few of my plants pistils started changing some color a little early, like 4 weeks into flower, but they're doing fine, and should harvest right on time. looks like the yields gonna be good too. however on one of them that changed colors a little early, the buds aren't quite as big as on the other one that didn't, but, not a huge difference

Pistil color has nothing to do with maturity. Sometimes they will darken faster if you spray them down with something but new white pistils should start overtaking them.

I too have this kind of thing with The Purple Kush im growing, and there is 100% no seeds/hermi etc

Iv yet to decide how detrimental it is, it does seem to make the buds that do it slightly smaller,

I have noticed for sure that if you brush against the buds this will happen, where i come into the room its dam tight do i end up with some buds there with red hairs.

Iv been wondering if it could be from the fans blowing the plants and the leafs of one plant rubbing against the bud of another, thing is that some buds dont look like they would be getting rubbed by a leaf of another, some do though.

Pistils die and wither as they grow old. In sinsemillia new flowers flourish with fresh white hairs produced. Totally norma dude/dudette. All the best

brushing against them and or squeezing them to smell them or to test for hardness can turn them. Also if they get too dry between waterings can kill off pisils.

Docs right on the money.

In most strains they start turning 4 or 5 weeks into flower and with most plants they are withered and dead at harvest....

Sure there are pleanty of ways in which "some" of the pistils will brown and shrivel as Doc and others have mentioned. But it's NOT totally normal for so many pistils to turn all within the same bud and not have some fresh pistils in the bud in question, Doc & JJ. LOOK closely more at those photos.

However in THIS case you need to read between the lines and LOOK at the photos.
Thread starter stated that it was day 32 and some of the pistils are turning color...but LOOK at the photo showing a couple of buds which have zero fresh pistils and fully browned and retracted pistils.

THAT my friends is very likely a pollinated bud, most likely from the girl throwing an early nanner, a trait seen most often in plants from feminized seed and/or a hermie trait rearing its fugly head.

This is why I said "please update this thread after harvest and let us know re: that seeded bud"
