Pistil question

First grow. Inexperience will show in this question, guaranteed. THSeeds BG @ 36 days of 12/12. It is supposed to mature in 55-60 days but already I'm getting about 5% of the pistils turning brown and shriviling up. Especially on the larger colas starting about 1/4 of the way down from the top. Is this normal or am I screwing up the bloom.

well sounds like you either been touching them ,,,,,don't touch the buds sir..lol.. really you touching them will kill the hairs ....ummmmmmmmmm.you could have pollenated the crop, when a bud gets pollenated it will start to turn brownish red, did ya have any males in the room ... or have ya been around pollen,,,,or you could have put too much nitrogen on it,,,, or you could have it too close to lights ,,,,,,but when they get into there late 30s and into thr early40 days they will start to do it anyways ....but for normal hairs ....they tend to start from the middle first ...then the bottom .....then the tops keep putting on new growth so it will be last to show hair deteration....but it sounds to me like too close to lights ...or you have pollenated a crop... i had a bg bud do that to me last grow and nothing came of it ... it was about the same time as yours ....it hust started to grow white hairs again..... but i tell ya i would love to know more about the plant ..or maybe see some pics... i need to know what ya feeding it .. but really this could be normal........i have grown bg for about 8 years so i have seen it all ..lol well not lol...all plants will suprize ya...

Thanks for the reply. The tough part is that all that you mentioned could be true. I had males last go-round, but I thought I got them out in time. I just supplemented with a 1/2 tsp. of Fish Emulsion about a week ago for one last shot of N to see it through. I touch them (Probably too much) with a 10x loupe. I'll stop that and move the light up some. It's one plant in a 1.5 gallon pot in FF OceanForest soil and am now only feeding FF BigBloom (4tbls/gallon).
