Piss man cometh

So this totally stinks...i've been at my current occupation for over 10 years, and I lay low, keep my mouth shut, do great things on the job, no trouble, no problems. I've been smoking for the past 8 years since I started....began in school and quit for a few years while I searched for work.
Well, here we go....the new "safety" director (sp-dictator) has begun random testing...so, I ordered up some synthetic urine and am waiting dilligently for the arrival...I'm really sweating the test (obviously) and will be able to pass after my fluid gets here..the tests are unsupervised...But I've got some decent smoke that is begging to be devoured. I don't go back to work until Friday and I'd hate to go in, get tested, lose my gig and then my order arrives. I'm thinking about calling out sick on Friday and holding out until it arrives. Has anyone else ever had a situation like this? or, am I alone in this senario?

No mate I've had to skirt the urine tests before - I've got this ridiculous metabolism still it takes me about three days plus heavy dilution, and it's always served me well.

You say you're sweating it - if you have those sick days I'd say turn one in for Friday and get baked while you wait for your synthetic pee.

LOL! my better half & i were just discussing that. I've got like 500 hours of sick time built up, so i could use a day and hang out, enjoy my freaking night, y'know.

Yes, it happens all over. We had annual "check-ups" at a previous employer and they would test you at that time as well.

They did give us a 3-day heads up as to when the test was coming though.

You had to be a pretty dull tool in the shed to not pass.

I ordered my goods and recieved them in good time, been going to work on normal schedule and have secured the synthetic urine to a knee brace to keep the temps regulated....so far, no test and I've been able to sustain the adequate temperature. I feel a whole lot more secure and ready. The employer also started random breathalizer testing people, which is a joke...I really can't see anyone drinking on the job...not much time to do that kind of thing. It's funny, i think that the safety director who has started all this up must have an addiction problem and he's screwing with everyone else to avoid his own issues. I still have cut way back on my mj use and it's starting to piss me off. I miss my weed, I've had one joint waiting for me for a few days. Can't wait for my next little break to spark it up.
I gro- that's awesome that you all get a heads up on the test date...we used to get tested when advancement came up, and that was the only time. I had a buddy get popped b/c he pissed hot right after he was promoted (knucklehead)...the screwed up thing, was that he knew it was coming.
