Well you likes it. I love the stuff. I find it pretty fun to get my pipe meticulously cleaned and then have something to smoke at the end. Especially when no herbs available.
The "stone" also varies from what type of weed we've smoked out of it.

i used to be intrigued with this stuff but now it doesn't get a second thought.. its garbage.

a 'head change' is not equal to a high ot stone imo.

I have smoked it but wouldnt say I like it at all. It does get me pretty high but if I have to wait less then a week to smoke I rather just leave it there.

Butane really? Thats crazy. It has cannabinoids in it. And its not a head change its a definite high. I only do it when theres no herb available. Which really is never.

Butane is a volatile solvent. It boils *well* below room temperature. There is no butane in your resin.

edit: not to mention, butane is burned as fuel. In the impossible event that butane is left over after combustion, the above statement applies :)

Now, chemical residue, possible and I'd say likely, but it isn't butane.

Keep in mind before this scares you...you're smoking it anyways to create the resin.

well i mean beasters to me isn't even considered a true high or stone so i have skewed perceptions i guess but even you younguns and noobs out there will one day leave the resin smoking in the past. i hope so at least jesus.

many names for the icky black resin collected from pipes... and I will agree it is mostly tar

but with that said it sure does get you high - only problem is it gives me a headache after coming down - that and the taste is nasty

haven't had a need to smoke resin since I started growing my own but before that I sure did - and I remember in high school was when I was first introduced to the black crack - we didn't have no weed but a friend's dad was a big pot head - well his pipe got cleaned on a regular basis by us kids - so we'd be able to smoke the resin (he kept his buds under lock and key)...

easy skankin, you are obviously a unexperianced child or a new smoker in general.
smoke resin if you please, it will get you a high.... but in all honesty it is not worth it in the long run of life.

also, resin tastes like balls.

also, if you let your pipes get dirty enough to even scrape resin..... well you are just a sicko.
clean your pipes and value the taste of nug (unless it is shitty nug and your resin can help mask that horrid taste)

if you don't want to clean your pipes as often as one should... just get more, and some will be clean and some won't be... but at least that way you always got at least one to value the taste. later!
ps. don't take any offense from my post cause i was once a resin head due to my lack of funds of being a 9th grader.

Its all good packabowl. But i have been smoking heavily since i was 12-13. And smoking daily.
The first time i smoked was some headie heady nugs. I remember the first time i smoked schwag. I was like holy shit dude this is like cat piss. It really was some shitty shitty weed though. No disrespect to schwag all herb is good with me.
I don't smoke resin to often and we have 8 glass pieces. Im a damn good grower to.

It makes you feel light and dizzy because of all the toxins you are breathing in, all the condensed dirt that cooled out of the smoke... Although I had a flatmate who got wasted after scraping out the bucket!!

I don't think we need to come up with any reasons for not smoking resin than "what it is". It's gross.

I'd be willing to bet a pretty penny that resin contains more drugs in it by weight than the smoke that created it. To say there aren't drugs (or much at all) is kinda nuts.

By the way, smoke doesn't have to settle at all for resin to form. Has nothing to do with it.

Oh and butane boils at -.5 celcius.

yea except when you smoke resin you are smoking only SHIT, compared to when you are smoking weed you are smoking SHIT and THC. there is no thc in resin, only cannabinoids
