Hey all...
I don't have the words to say how sorry I have been for being such a stranger to these familiar shores...All I can say is that my life is going through huge transformations. Big time. Most of them good. All the transformational changes, however, mean that my time is spent in multi-dimensional, logistical tumult and I have little energy left for full participation on this, my favorite, forum. Oh well!! Believe me, it's all good and to some degree, miraculous. My son, for instance, is doing extremely well. His brain tumor seems to be non-existent - given that it is inoperable and that his prognosis had him checking out in late 2014, one can only credit the combined elements of chemo, radiation, and cannabis (and-who knows- some other special ingredient). Whatever -for this our gratitude is boundless.
But that's only one front. My state has recently gone recreational. If all is well, there is a good likelihood that I will be a participant in a medical dispensary and hopesully (depending upon the new administration) a recreational outlet. If so, I will do my best to ensure that Ace is featured big time.
For the nonce - I have started these two Pink Malawi/Ma Petit seeds. I have little knowledge of what they will be like - if they are like regular Malawi, I will be in heaven and if they have -as dubi suspects- high CBD, I will also be in heaven...albeit even more mellow. Don't know if any has also brought these beauties forward...They are young yet but showing a myriad of flower nodes going all the way down branches - something I have seen with the standard Malawi. One pheno is very branchy, gangly, etc. The other seems to be more compact with a tenency to branch but not resembling the first pheno. They were placed under 12/12 on November 4 and I took these pictures about a week and a 1/2 ago. (See! Too busy!!!!). So that was then...I will try to get some pictures soon as they have significantly started flowering out this juncture and have stretched considerably in the passage of time since these photos.
Anyhow...all to all my known and new friends and a great big grin for dubi!
Here's the gangly one...she has grown to the extent that she is on the floor and no longer on the bucket. Hopefully, she will calm down soon or she will be reaching too close to the artificial sun.
And this is the more compact one. It was weird...something funky happened that affected only the very top node when it was a plantling. The topmost node of the meristem basically died off but the rest of the plant thrived. I have no idea. At any rate, it form this bush...The stretch seems much less exuberant and the branches are much more compact. There are a lot of little stemlings toward the bottom that I will most likely clear away but the budding seems earlier and more puffball than her sister's.
I know little about this specific strain. Perhaps dubi...if he's back from his hiatus...or someone else can pitch in. I love forging off into the unknown!! Until later...enjoy!!
