Pink eye.....wtf??

just as the title says......

the last 2 days i been waking up with my eyes stuck shut and i think its nothing just me sleeping good. but then my eyes today!!!! ****ing crazy, i got done smoking a bowl and my bro's like "your eyes are f*ckin red!" i say " yea, so we just got done smokin"

i look in the mirror and im the friggin devil himself!

like wtf!!!! just thought i'd let u all know, shit is pretty contagious

And pink eye is very contagious.
Are your eyelids swollen as well?
Pink eye is caused by a bunch of stuff, the scariest being Lupus. If it goes on for more than a week, go get yourself checked out, by a real doctor, not just one that plays one on Icmag

my eyes are just extremely red with green/yellow buggers constantly forming. which leaves me to believe its bacterial not viral.

could u expand a bit about what u said drdog? cause i got no idea how i got it, nobody i know has it, i practice good hygiene....

i be seein a doc today to get the drops

Well there are a bunch of vectors for Pink Eye. You probably have the virus or the bacteria version, most common.
But there are many reasons that pink eye can start. From a allergic reaction all the way up to Lupus.( I consider Lupus to be a serious matter)
I would not worry about it too much, until you have seen a real doc. Just be careful with your hands, keep them out of your eyes and wash them like crazy if you do. A virus can live for a suprisingly long period of time outside its host.

i googled it and the said if my boogers are green/yellow then its bacterial, and it would be clear or something if its a virus.

i do have bad alergies if that makes a difference.

so i go to the docs, he puts this yellow liquid in my eye while i hold my eyes open holding the fluid in there, he turns the lights off and puts a black light to my eyes. made them glow in the dark, he said my eyes look good other then being EXTREMELY EXTREMELY red, he even was shocked at how red they were, no pot has ever made my eyes this red. but i end up gettin the drops, just put them in now, no stinging or anything so i should look normal soon. thanks for checkin in yo!!

My wife calls pink eye "The Day-Care Plague". She is a teacher, and along with lice, it's something that's hit our house regular.

Infectious as all get out - one kid can infect a whole school.

I had it one Xmas - I was miserable. Both eyes, itching, excretin'. Crust and mung everywhere.

Doc first gave me sulpha drops - I damn near screamed when I put 'em in, and my eyes got worse. He finally gave me an antibiotic that cleared me in days.

That liquid and black light was to check for scratches to your corneas, etc. Just in case it wasn't pink eye.

I have never cought pink eye but I have a theory about ear infections and stuff like that. Some people are susceptible but most I think just don't take care of themselves. Things like eating right, getting enough sleep, reducing stress, excersising, drinking tea, chewing coca leaves, smoking bud,drinking in moderation,draining the prostate regularly, are you taking notes? But who has the time? Time? That is my lifestyle. All of those things I have found I enjoy and they enrich my life. It is fun to be healthy.

i had the exact same shit ONCE. back in high school. woke up one morning, eyes crusted shut. i told my daddy (lol) and we went straight to the doc. i told him what happen. he looked me over. gave me some eye drops and told me to stay outta school til im ok.
i went back to school 2 days later. this crazy chick (she spent time in psycho ward for stabbing her father), tried to blame me for her pink eye. im like wtf i didnt even get to school when i found out. she was on some wait and see shit like you. people in school told me she look like she went a few rounds with iron mike when he was relevant lol.

i didn't wait for that shit to get worse.

lol your doc did a test? my doc said.. so what's the problem? i tell him. he looked at my eyes and said, hmm they're a little pink. checks my blood, breathing, heart rate, and so on. he sits down, writes a note in my folder and then writes the prescription and i give him $60. the end. no insurance involved either!

i DO have pink eye and I HAVE been to the docs to get the drops and i should be fine soon. i must have caught it at the local highschool football game were my bro plays. thats the only place i have been that i can think of. unless my bro brought it home from school carrying it on his hands or somethin..... oh well im going to get an extra bottle of this stuff to have around.

PoppinFresh- yea my doc did all those tests too and for the first time in my life she said i had high blood pressure (not the condition) just it seemed ATM i did, weird. also my vision in my left eye was pretty bad while my right was fairly good. probaly just because of the mucus and crap in my eye, hard to tell.
