any guerillas grew this strain and if so how was the mold resistance? i found a few utube vids of this and the plant looked massive. it could be a good strain for us guerillas. im at 37.5 n lat and its humid as hell here during full flower. Also has anyone grown Silver Bubble from reserva privada? they say they are mold resistant as well.

I grew one outside. It made a coke can size buds and exquisite smoke. I lost a lot of bud drying the harvest but it was wet and humid and mold took over. I don't remember losing much if any bud during the grow but it definitely could mold. Others may have a different experience.
I think there is a member here moondawg who grows pineapple chunk outdoor.

i try not to chime in on threads i don't have to too too much to add to,

yeah i've seen an outdoor grower in oregon? struggling with PM with PC. i've only grown it in micro, and agree.. good strain for getting stoned.

thanks fellas! i live in a very humid climate here in the south usa so sounds like it wont stand up to the humidity of 85-100% that we get here during full flower. i defo dont want a strain i have to babysit like i did last year with the holy grail kush and still lost it to mold and leaf spot. its such a pussy strain for outdoors and i vowed to never run a strain that i will have to do that to again. it dont matter how strong the THC is or how big it yeilds if it dont handle the outdoor guerilla envo i have to grow in bc without resistance im not smokeing it lol

ok , i've decided to go with the chunk this year after reading a lot about it etc etc ...heres my opinion to date ...
i started with five fem beans which all bar one came up in good time ...the last one struggled for a bit but has
rebounded well ..i let them get to about a foot in height and then took five cuttings which rooted pretty quick under a 8w LED light ..one of the originals i potted up in a quality mix and have tended her since but is just not vigorous at all ...a bit yellow in appearance and at this stage i'm confident it won't amount to all that much , could be wrong ....
now some of the cuts , with a few other strains i put out in the patch were ravaged by a fire ...now the ones i kept back plus a few more of the chunk are very yellow and just not doing well ...next to these are golden tiger and my own strain , all about the same age and all in the same mix , are powering away ... at this stage i would say that they are not very robust at all ..i've tried a bit more nitrogen and blood n bone on all strains and great response on all except the chunk ..bit disappointed but things could change , early days yet ..in fact i'll slip out now and get a pic of one now , be right back !!

Gday rod58. What exactly made you go with this strain, Has it got some what of a reputation?
For me this was just an incidental freebee but my fuck was it good smoke, aroma and flavor like the bottom of grandma's purse, and the high was luscious. But call me a pessimist I just can't take Barneys word on the genetic make, from memory a cheese skunk derivative. Cheese, really? Exodus cheese. If anyone knows more chime in. If the one I grew is anything like real cheese then I know why the cheese is so revered.

I think it is a cross between a Skunk #1, Cheese and a haze with pineapple flavour. You can get full on Indica or Full on Sativa Pheno's The Indica version is smaller fatter and chunky buds that get you stoned. The sativa has thinner leaves not too thin, very pineappley sweet skunky buds, not so chunky, bit of foxtails. About a twelve week flower, much different to the stated 50 to 60 days. Good smoke get you high and cleaning everything, never had such shiny mags. :) The sativa one did well out doors, but the bud grubs loved the shit out of it so much it was tiresome to someone who doesn;t like chemicals.

Rod have you got any good compost or worm turd, if so hit them with a tea. It will help to buffer your mix and improve nutrient uptake. When other strains are doing well in the same mix one tends to blame the genetics of the one that isn't, but I couldn't tell you the right or wrong of it.
You should make a thread in the Grow diary section I wouldn't mind seeing how things turn out and hear more about your own strain.
I couldn't bring myself to buy Barneys Chunk again as I have doubts I would be receiving the same genetics I grew first time round. I have Connosiuers Cream Cheese instead which is Exodus cheese x the white. Chasing that original high, if there is a cheese link I hope I find it again.

^^ Is the Cheese more of a up high or not? I think it is a Skunk pheno so mostly sativa. The White is mostly sativa too?

thanks ozza , just went and had another good look at them ..one that i've got in a very large pot is full on indica pheno and is looking alright ..the yellow ones are all sativa pheno's ..
anyway they all got a dose of seaweed extract and its rained all night on them so they can all go out to there final spot come the weekend ..we have had several days exceeding 40c and i do believe that could be a problem with these for my area as we regularly have that and beyond for weeks sometimes , drought resistance is vital if i'm to expect a reasonable yield .....
thought of doing a grow diary k dawg , but i might hold off for a while , i''ll take a few pics now but wait and see if they pick up plus i've just taken more cuts from the indica one ..really hope that its an easy fix tho , the season is upon us and time is the enemy , plus i am really looking forward to smoking this stuff ...lol..anyway i will put up more pics as they come available ..cheers :tiphat:

I ran 2x outdoor this summer, I also live in a humid/rain prone climate & they both stayed up a week longer(5 days of straight rain & the other 2 were muggy) than every other plant in the garden & not one spot of mold/mildew did I find on them.

It doesn't disappoint, to say the very least.

Couldn't tell ya yesum I have not smoked the cheese clone. The quality of the pineapple chunk high is probably the best I've ever had, comforting, satisfying and tasty. I wouldn't call it a sativa buzz.

I've never grow the pc outdoor but indoor many times (cheese pheno). It's a great strain, easy to grow, big yielder, awesome bag appeal and a really nice high! I would say go for it!

a late planting of PC and there finally moving ..another 8 weeks of grow weather and they could turn out ok ..the yellowing has gone now and they are looking very sappy .second batch of cuttings also went very yellow and have just put them in this morning ..
got there very early this morning ...think i woke the gals up ...lol..

I threw a couple fem seeds outdoors this year. One was a runt I killed off. The other had a lot of vigor, extremely loud pine smell, greasy with a good yield but fluffy buds. Nothing worth keeping from my 2 though.
